Did you already grab some stuff out of thiy years summer sale?

I took the Far Cry bargain of getting all the games for 14 Euros.

I might also go for Tomb Raider, the mass effect collection and all the borderlands dlcs.
 
Good sale thus far.

I got the orange box on sale coz I didn't own it. I played HL2 but it was a pirated version... decided that I should pay valve something and tell them to start moving on making HL3
I got Wolf among us.
Fallout New Vegas with all dlc.

In total, ~15euros all.

I won't be getting anymore singleplayer games. I got these coz HL2 for reason I said so, wolf among us because it is going to get a continuation and Fallout new vegas because while it doesn't have multiplayer, the mods make it so that it's a limitless experience.

I generally don't like to pay money on games that have a limited lifespan. That's why I buy games like starcraft 2, coz that **** is gonna live for 20 years. Don't believe me? Wc3 is still being played after over 10 years.

That's the principle... durability. Longevity.
 
I got Farcry 3 for $7.50 and Skyrim for $5.00. I'm super happy with my savings so far, but I'm waiting for that one gem.

No need to spend hours running around looking/begging for food.

I found it VERY frustrating my 1st day.
 
State of Decay and Borderlands 2 so far.
 
Banished and 2 expansions for HoI3 I did not have. I have yet to pay more than 10 bucks for anything from steam...

Just curious, you have to buy the basic game, then FTM, then TFH to have the latest version, right? I only got the vanilla and it's not registered on Steam so.....
As for my own purchases as a Steam newbie, Simcity 4 and Europa Universalis IV with no packs. Pondering whether to buy HoI3 with the expansion packs. Hmmmm....

Snagged Age of Wonders III at half price.
 
Everyone should get Shovel Knight it is only 15 bucks.
 
ARMA II, Civ 5, Simcity 4 (used to love that game), Skyrim, New Vegas Ultimate Edition, Age of Empires II HD, Borderlands 2, Metro 2033, GTA IV, Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion, and Kerbal Space Program. Good haul.
 
Picked up the Assassin's Creed series and Dark Souls.

I bought Civ5 during the sale, the version with all the DLC, and I didn't really get into until a couple of days ago. Yeah, I kind of played it for six hours straight yesterday. :lol: I mean, I couldn't quit right when I noticed the Aztecs were weak and I could take over the whole South American continent by going to war with them. :lol:
