Apple security flaw could allow hackers to beat encryption | Reuters
Apple's OS X security hole affects slew of apps, researcher claims | Digital Trends
This story broke a few days ago but the media have been ignoring it pretty much. This effects all of Apples products and is a massive hole that has been in their operating systems (iOS and OSX) since 2011-12. Some think it is linked to the NSA where as others think the timing of when the so called bug appeared is just a coincidence.
It basically makes it damn easy to read your electronic traffic... anything that uses SSL... and that is a lot, including banking, facebook and so on.
Apple patched iOS 7 and 6 late last week with a sudden update that came out of the blue, but OSX has as of Monday still not been patched so it is still open.
If you have an iPhone or iPad.. update!
If you have a Mac... dont connect to wifi networks that you dont control. Dont use Safari.. install Chrome or Firefox as they are unaffected.
And spam Apple for an update since they are damn slow as usual and it is disgusting that this flaw has been in their products for years. No wonder the NSA found it so easy to hack Apple products.. Apple built in a backdoor for them!
