Fable Anniversary - Lionhead

Happy news

One of my favorite X Box games is being re released for the X Box 360. Fable is being remade for the X Box 360, I truly may have to buy a 360 to play it (having got rid of my 360 about 2 years ago

Is it on Xbox One too?

Not to my knowledge

But does not X box one also play 360 games?

It is a great RPG where being evil, good, a glutton or getting scars effects how NPCs react to you. Being evil they may run away,

Of course I might be remembering it from rose coloured glasses as it is about 10 years ago

It was a fun game, IIRC. I remember wishing that it was a bit deeper and more open ended though.

If someone could find a way to work a lot of Fable's features into an Elder Scrolls game, it'd be an RPG for the ages.

Dumb question.... is there more than one XBox 360? Because I feel like I bought mine 5+ years ago, there's no way it can still be current.

Looks like all they did was update the textures with some bumpmaps and transfer it over to a new engine to update the lightmaps. I'm sure plenty of people will be impressed, but it's really just an easy way to get more money out of old work.

Xbox 360 is 10 years old .. well 9 years old. November 2005 was the retail release date.

Brand new interface, save system and seamless experience - Through the power of Xbox 360, gameplay in Fable Anniversary is more seamless than ever and this version boasts a new user interface system that’s been designed to simplify and make it faster and easier to explore the rich world of Fable and its menus. In addition to lightning-fast load times, there’s an all-new save system that’s been built from the ground up to provide the player with the ability to save anytime, anywhere, including during quests. Fable Anniversary also revitalizes the features that Fable fans have come to love with an updated, optional control scheme acclimated for fans that loved the play styles of Fable II and Fable III.
Achievements in Fable for the first time - Fable Anniversary includes a full 1000 achievement points that are guaranteed to challenge and surprise new players and even the most veteran “Fable: The Lost Chapters” fans as they explore the world of Albion again.
Xbox SmartGlass support for all your devices - Use your Windows 8 or other SmartGlass devices to interact with Fable in ways in which you’ve never done before; look at your map screen, discover secret locations, and even take screenshots of your Hero to upload to your social network!

I played the two Fable games that came out for the PC. The first one, I enjoyed a lot...the second one, not so much. But I have no desire to go back and replay them again...even if they do look better.

But I am very interested in the upgraded music. I've always liked Fable music...I even keep it on my mp3 player.
