Any one have any favorites, or a particular series in which they've always appreciated these "mini movies?"

Personally, I've always thought that THQ did a good job with the cut scenes for their Warhammer 40K games.

Corny and gruesome at the same time, I love it!

Can't say I have one. The System Shock 2 trailer still gets the job done, after all this time.

System Shock

The Duke Nukem Forever trailer was pretty awesome.

Shame that the game was such utter crap though.

I didn't used to like 3rd person shooters, but after playing Space Marine, I liked them. I never could finish that game because I never could kill the boss ork. Even after changing the level to easy, I kept getting killed, so I just abandoned the game. That's how I got hooked on the Assassins Creed games, which I think are awesome games.

Yea. I loved the Hell out of SpaceMarine myself.

Pro-tip: Spam his ass with the melta-gun. I had him down after only like four magazine changes. ;)

Well, it would be easy if it was just him, but the coward calls for help from his suicide minions. If he doesn't get me, they reduce my health to nothing. The bad part about that section is there is nowhere to hide, and the Space Marine can't jump or run fast. I never did perfect that side roll he does because of the way I set up my PC keyboard. Besides, I'm spoiled now after playing Assassins Creed games.

I have to say, that final cutscene in The Last of Us was just wow. Just like the rest of the game.

I love me some 40k in tabletop forum and videogame form.

Always played as the IG: For the Emperor.

Yea, the Imperial Guard were always my favorite as well.

There's something kind of satisfying about kicking ass and taking names as a bunch of "regular joes" in a universe full of genetically engineered super warriors, monsters, and demons that could all effortlessly shred you in an instant.

Pretty much anything from Blizzard or Relic. Their cut scenes just make my jaw drop

They are just amazing companies that make very polished products

Came here to mention them. And they just keep getting better.

Tell me you don't get goosebumps at 1:20

Too bad the Heart of the Swarm campaign was so frigging easy.

edit: or a bit more "movie trailer" style

Ya know... I bought that game when it first came out. I haven't gotten around to playing it yet though.

I guess I really should!

StarCraft always was ahead of the curve with regard to cinematics.

None too shabby for 1997.

I'm going to have to try that game.

It's a PS3 exclusive, right?

Ya. It was a phenomenal game. If I HAD to pick something bad to say about it, I'd say the AI was meh.

old school.

Good to see other Warhammer fans

My largest army is IG using Praetorian Guard minis. I think I have over 250 of metal PG

I love the PlayStation Bro-Mance commercial.

I prefer Infantry or Tank spam. God bless the Leman Russ even thought I hate the new rules for tanks.

The praetorian guard are infantry, and I like tanks as well

One reason why I never really liked the Space Marine, when I first started buying Warhammer, they only had the Land Raider and Predator, not a big enough boom

I know they are. I like space marines. I do run an Ultramarine Army as well.
