Any one tried this again lately. Just decided to try the trial again just to see how the new expansion is, and really impressed. Some very nice interface upgrades. Ship changes, new tutorial, looks awesome.

I might try it out, I've been searching for a good MMORPG. I like the idea of having a ship and paying within a virtual economy.

For pure gameplay , Eve is about the best game out there. No classes, much deeper gameplay, massive content. Let me know if you do start to play, I can hook you up with some useful links.

Looks interesting. Going to try the 14 day trial

I'm going to register and download the 14 day trial as well. It can't hurt.

I've heard good things about it. If I hadn't already found my non-WoW MMO, I'd give it a shot.

I've played before, it's just not the game for me. Not only is it PvP heavy, which I detest, you're just playing a ship, which I hate. I don't want to have to watch behind me in low sec so someone can't stab me in the back and blast my escape pod out of spite.

looks interesting but I can tell right now my computer doesn't have the horses for this game.

I doubt that unless you have some very old hardware. I have been an avid Eve player since about 2006, you can dumb down the graphics back down to 2004 levels if you want and then the only thing that might cause some slowdown is is the character creator.

I run 2 clients at once with a Hp dv-2000 notebook I bought a year ago for $300 from best buy, it doesnt look good at the settings I run at though. When the settings are maxed out it is a truly beautiful game.

The thing a out Eve is, you won't enjoy it unless you join a corporation that has people you like, unless you are charismatic enough to run your own. The pve content outside of incursions isn't great, the point of the game is PvP.

The PvP is the best I have ever had, and is the epitome of the life's not fair style of play. Just yesterday I accidentally jumped thru a gate rather than warped to my bookmark, to wait for my scout character to look at the other side, since live in nullsec, it was instantly 148 on 1, I died before I coupe burn back to the gate. This is the reality of the game and I love it.

There is a big learning curve and you will die a lot in very unfair circumstances for years unless you adapt and understand it is you versus the other 400k people, even your friends.
