I've just started playing the Dragonborn DLC for Skyrim. It's so nostalgically awesome, props to Bethesda for a proper expansion for Skyrim.

I love Bethesda too! I hop on the red line and the Bloomingdales is right off the metro!

....wait we aren't talking about the same thing are we......I do like skyrim too.

I used to live in Silver Spring and my mom worked in Bathesda, she took the subway to work everyday.

In regards to Skyrim, I have't played the DLC yet due to school owning 99% of my time :( I'll probably buy it once I go on break.

Just finished the first 2 and have to wait until early January to play Dragonborn. Strapping on my Legendary Ebony armor in anticipation!

Pssh, my Stahlrim armour is way better.

Really? funny that, I don't need Stahlrim armor. I have it on PC and can use codes! Bwhahahahahahahha!

PS Just looked it up. It is just barbarian looking ebony armor, not my style. I don't wear deadric armor for the same reason.

Just explored three islands off the coast, one had a dragon, the second a Spriggan Matron and some giant Nirnroots, and the third had Rieklings. This is awesome.

Look up the Deathbrand armour, the helmet gives me a +100 armour bonus. My armour rating is 589.

Spud I don't wear light armor, lol. Here's why...

An armor rating of 900 only with
haevy armor perks and smithing:
daedric armor (legendary) 342
daedric gloves (legendary) 141
daedric boots (legendary) 141
daedric helmet (legendary) 165
spellbreaker shield (legendary) 111

That's with no alchemy or enchanting.

Deathbrand Armor: "Increases your stamina by 15 for each Deathbrand item you wear."
Deathbrand Helm: "Waterbreathing. 100+ Armor while wearing a complete set of Deathbrand armor."
Deathbrand Boots: "Increases carrying capacity by 10 for every Deathbrand armor you wear."
Deathbrand Gauntlets: "While dual-wielding, your one-handed attacks do 10% more damage for each Deathbrand item you wear."

I am not even 40th level and my armor rating without a shield is 400+.

Heavy is where it's at hehehehe.

Actually I wear armor completely for looks. After you get above 300, and above level 30 it really does not matter so much anymore depending on your skills. My Ebony Armor alone is 113 and I am not even maxed in armorer or enchanting yet, so my legendary armor can increase even more! Now include helmet, gauntlets and leg and I am 400+ (all legendary of course.) I can continue to improve it as I progress, as I am sure you know. If I added a shield it would be sick. So I go for looks and wield 2 swords. When I reach level 50 my armor class in the same armor will be better than your light armor now I imagine. It will be 700 easy. Now if I wore Deadric, it gets ridicules for sure.

I can't wait to try the new DLC next month. Will be awesome. All you are doing is wetting my appetite, lol.

Damn you Spud! I am ready for it!

DB: Skyrim:Armor - UESPWiki

Overall, anything beyond 567 displayed armor rating when wearing all four pieces of armor or 667 when not wearing any pieces of armor will still be capped at 80% of physical damage reduction, meaning you cannot gain 100% physical damage immunity.

Which is exactly why I said this...

You expected me to read your whole post, and this early in the morning?
