Playchips sucks but I like poker so whatevs for now.
 
I love poker...its an addictive passtime...I had to divorce from the game...When I lived in Jersey I used to frequent the taj mahals poker room and I found myself inching up in betting limits...to where I was betting some very hefty amounts...My wife was standing behind me one night unknown to me...not that I would hide anything from her...I do NOT...but later she mentioned in the off the cuff way she always has lol....Hey sugarbear getting kind of up there with the betting huh...and like always I look at her and grin and say ok babydoll...Im done...and done I was...the lady has never steered me wrong...I pay attention to her gentle heads up.
 
Playing a site called Lock Poker right now! Decent site and its open to US based players, cant wait to move back to the UK so I can play Full Tilt again lol
 
I'm cheap, I play hoyle cards on my computer. I do well when there is no money involved. If I gamble, I lose.

I play now and then. I get on a hot streak and up, then I get bored and lose it all. I just try to quit before I lose all my chips, so I have something to play with later.

I was sat on about 10k chips and then I had 2 unreal hands. Hit cowboys bet big and I got raised so went all in KK vs QJ. Doubled my chips from that hand and then got dealt pocket aces and doubled again. played slow for a while after that and then played my big blinds smart. Tough win it took me 4 hours but im 1k up so it was worth it lol

I prefer to play Poker in person. Used to play once a week with friends, and we'd take turns hosting. Normally it would be during football games so we could kill two birds with one stone. We did the nickel, dime, quarter poker.

I really miss that...

I haven't played "real" poker since I was in high school. However, I do have an account on PS.net that I log into every blue moon.

If I knew of an actual poker game around here with stakes that aren't too high, I'd get in it.

I've played years, I know when to hold 'em. Odd side note: Kenyans love that song, and a couple others by Kenny Rogers - they are played on the popular western music radio station at least once/week. Heck, I probably heard it on the radio twice a week at lunch, when I went to a kitchen with a radio.

Anyway, it's play chips (not real cash), so there's no method to avoid bad beats - people play and call anything somtimes; thus, I go broke and back up and broke again. It's just fun. Currently, I'm up to 2.5b but I could be broke in ~4 bad beats or higher monster hands. No matter, I'll play for thousands and have millions again in an afternoon, hundreds of millions the next. Then some bastard will catch runners and it's back to the little tables.
 
I know it's bizarre, but go to a workers kitchen or bar in Kenya, and there's a good chance you'll hear this on the radio:



It seems it has been thus decade(s). It was popular and never waned. Go to a couple lunches with a radio and a couple bars playing such, and it's there every week. I will not go into personal references regarding the song; suffice to say, it made said experience more bizarre.
