Is there a program to convert files to DVD that uses AMD's stream technology?

I have used ConvertXtoDVD for years and really enjoy the product, however I would really like to find something that has the same features but also uses AMD's stream technology (is like Nvida's Cuda) to speed up conversions. I do not need anything that also burns onto disk like ConverX does as I use Nero for the burning segment of the operation.

I was really disappointed to see ConvertXtoDVD5 will feature a cuda decompiler but no Stream decompiler. Where is the AMD/ATI love?

Anyone have any suggestions?

Sorry if this is a sidetrack for a serious question, but why convert to DVD format to begin with. Pretty much every DVD player will play avi, wmv, mkv and mp4 straight from flash drive (or from DVD media). You can store a lot more without the conversion.

Good question - My bedroom TV has an old built in DVD player that will not play any other format so I convert them over so they will work in any player in the house just to keep it simple.
