Dead Space 3

Aliens: Colonial Marines

Far Cry 3

Hopefully my PC will be able to play these when they come out.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2
Far Cry 3
Crysis 3

Ah, Crysis 3. That'll be a good one, too.

Would of said Call of Duty but unless they have changed it up a bit I wont be buying it straight away!

Assassins Creed 3......Assassins Creed 3..........did I mention Assassins Creed 3?

Dragon Age 3

Dishonored

Beyond: Two Souls

The Last of Us

South Park

NASCAR: Inside Line(hopefully it won't suck)
Just off the top of my head.

Crysis 3

I really need something to test my dual GTX680's and dual 27" monitors.

Currently Dishonored is top of the list, and only a few days until I see what it is about - and if it is any good.

Also on the near horizon Assassins creed III, although just mildly excited for that - and since I do PC gaming I have to wait close to an extra month after console releases. By then reviews and player feedback may either enhance or quell what excitement I do have.

Further down the line: Tomb Raider I loved the series back in the day, and want to see how and if it will be worth the hype in a modern era version.

games I should be excited for, but are not unfortunately:
Dragons Call 3 - I wish I could be excited for this, the best I can muster is a cautious trepidation. Dragon Age 2 has left a VERY foul and lingering taste in my mouth.

Sim City - Constant connection and forced multiplayer community - subscription based? - taint this for me. Cities XL was ruined and failed miserably -in part-for the very same reasons.

So far this year has been a very lackluster year for gaming IMO - and not a lot jumping out at me in the near future - I hope there are some pleasant surprises in store.

edit: and I agree with Molten Dragon on Project Eternity; a company with a track record of great games, and an old school -yet - dying genre of game that I have thoroughly enjoyed in the past. That one is still in its infancy though (hell its still incubating, although it seems the funding campaign has been quite successful)

See, I heard a lot of crap about this game, and wasn't very enthused about it, but I started playing it about a month ago, and beat it in like 2 weeks, and had a great time with it. One of the best games I've ever played, I really enjoyed the story, the gameplay, has me really excited about DA3.

Did you play Origins? I tried to give DA2 a good shake, but it paled in comparison to DAO, and was a HUGE let down for me.

edit - this part caught of your post caught my eye: "One of the best games I've ever played, I really enjoyed the story, the gameplay, has me really excited about DA3."

a pair of minor changes and this applies to my situation as well: "[DA Origins was] One of the best games I've ever played, I really enjoyed the story, the gameplay, ha[d] me really excited about DA[2]."

DA2 did not live up to expectations for me - not even close.

Yeah, I played the **** out of Origins, loved it, one of the best games I've ever played. The story was amazing, and the gameplay was great. I liked the gamplay in DA2 more though, and the story was awesome in DA2 as well, loved the political tension between all the groups, especially the Chantry, and the mages, and since I played as a mage it added an extra level of intrigue there. And the interactions between you, and your party members was fantastic, in both games. Really excited for DA3.

Fair enough, to each their own, it did not do it for me, and I did not like the changes in game play. I want to be excited for DA3, I really do, but I have too many reservations to do so.

I just watched Gamestops review of Dishonored. It looks and sounds like it will be a great game. I hope so, there has been little that is fresh and awesome to play this year.

I want Dungeon Keeper IV to be with Unreal graphics platform and UT2004K mapping ops - fully integrated and customizable.

Hey - a girl can dream.

Or - a fair trade would be a Mistress skin and behavior map for UT2004K. . . again - a girl can only fantasize.

Bioshock Infinite. I've been on a several year hiatus from gaming but that's gonna drag me back in

Yeah, it looks fun. Hopefully I'll get it for Christmas.

So far it has been a reasonably good game - a tad shallow on the RP aspect for sure, but its more of a Deus Ex/Assassins Creed hybrid kinda feel rather than roleplaying. Character development is rather shallow, with a handful of skills and very limited weapons and upgrades, but again those are more components you would associate with a role playing game. It is not a lootfest- just a handful of ammo types and healing items, and everything else is converted to cash immediately as you find them.

As of now, I have not got all that far into it, but I am a completionist who searches every nook and cranny, and I am trying to do a stealth play through without being detected, and not killing anyone as well.

My verdict so far is that it is a solid game that is fairly fun (some frustrations trying to find a way past certain parts - but this is probably a result of amped up difficulty level and wanting to stealth and no kill my way through), and although there has not been anything that has screamed "frickin awesome!" at me yet I am enjoying it.

Halo 4.

'Nuff said.

Dead Space 3

Aliens: Colonial Marines

Far Cry 3

GTA V, Black Ops 2, and the new Hitman, can't remember the name of it though. To posters who mentioned Dishonored, I wasn't that impressed with it. It was a fun rent, but would rather save my money for GTA or Hitman

Sim City 5

The last Sim City... Sim City Societies was horrible and Sim City 4 is getting a tad old :), but still damn fun to play.

While I'll get a lot of the games listed, the only one that's been on my preorder list for a year now is Halo 4. That's the only one I'm getting on day one.

Little Inferno.
Project CARS.
Wonderful 101.

Yeah, GTA V is going to be fun. It's been a long time since I've played any GTA.
