I'm working on changing up my windows UI and am wondering if anyone else on DP has done anything with theirs.

Here's what I have at the moment:

There are tons for Win 7.

Problem is you need to run a 3rd party program like Rainmaker to get them to work. It is all cool and that, but takes quite a bit of fiddling to get it exactly how you want.

I got a lot of pictures of my favourite female movie stars and singers changing every 10 seconds. Looking forward to Win 8 when I can have different pictures on different screens :) Other than that, not much here, although I have fiddled with themes and programs like Rainmaker.

I use Rainmeter for my UI. I just don't see a good reason to continue using the standard interface when I can tailor it to my visual and functional preferences. Heck, you can even confuse a lot of not-so-technically-savvy people by using something like Rocketdock which makes your desktop look like a Mac's, if you want... though I expect the best way to go if you want real customization is to use Linux.

Still takes a lot of tinkering to get to work right hehe. And yea tried Rocketdock but damn the Mac docking station sucks.
