Title says it all...Blizzard was hacked, if you play WoW, the hackers did get the data with the passwords for North American players, and they think that the hackers would have to decrypt each one individually, I would not trust that. Blizzard is recommending every one change their password. They do not think any credit card or real names where compromised.
 
happened once before on wow due to javascript bug that allowed mass hackings.diablo 3 had the same poblem that blizzard denied was their fault,but after one of their patches mass hackings stopped,so obviously it was on their side.

this is why blizzard tries to sell authenticators,because their games are among the worst for security.
 
This has happened a few times over the years as i remember...I change my pw every month...Ive had an authenticator since they came out...all years I played wow never been hacked...so far..I still have an active acct..I havent been active
 
I don't play WoW but I have a couple games attached to a battle.net account so I went ahead and changed anyway.
