10 insanely tough games

Ghosts and Goblins. man. that was the first game i thought of when i clicked this thread.

It was one of the first for me too. Great old game, reincarnated in 3D in Maximo for the PS2.

There are a lot of hard games that were left off the list though. Like this one:

Psssht, I hauled ass across the Oregon Trail, got there before anyone else, dysentery-free mind you, built myself a pimp-ass log cabin and sat back with some buffalo meat, countin my moneys.

I was like, "Where ya'll been? Sh*t, ain't no more meat to hunt around here."

Yeah, I rocked Oregon Trail, too. Never lost anybody, usually didn't even get sick.

Oregon Trail was harder if you selected the harder start scenario where you got less money. If you picked the most money, you could just buy everything and not have any trouble.

A lot of the old NES games were brutal. Silver Surfer and Time Lord were two that just destroyed me every time. Especially Time Lord. The whole thing is literally just a race against time, and I usually ran out somewhere near the end of level 3... of 6 levels. @_@

Won Oregon Trail once with all except one person dead, and the survivor was on the verge of death. Only one in my 4th grade class to have won the game, though.
