Steam's summer sale started today. If there's a game you've got your eye on, now might be the time. If it's not a daily deal, it's generally best to wait til the last day of the sale.

Welcome to Steam

Welcome to Steam

I've picked up Shogun 2 and Fallout: New Vegas so far.

Been awhile since I played a Total War game. Looking forward to it.

I've bought 7 games since the sale started. Should keep me busy for a few months.

I have spent too much money.

Oblivion with full DLCs
Deus Ex pack
Legend of Grimrock
Magicka (this game sucks btw)
Warhammer 40k Space Marine, full DLC pack
DC Universe online
Dragon Age Origins full DLC

I've gotten Bioshock 1 and 2, Portal 2, Might and Magic Heroes VI (not that great), Limbo, Tropico 4, and Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion.

I got on steam when it first started and hated it...left and never went back...is it any better now ? must be for you guys to be buying that many games

It depends on what you didn't like about it I guess.

Bioshock 2 sucks,
portal 2, limbo and Torpico are all pretty good though.

Hmmm. Crysis 2 for $12. I got bored with Crysis, but everyone seems to think Crysis 2 is considerably better. Hmmm.

I'm not going to post my list, i'm one of those steam gamers.

You know the one who has 200 games in thier account and over 2/3rds are unplayed*

steam winter sale 2010- i might have overindulged in packs

Makes sense :)...I should have figured it out myself...i hated how slow it was but that could have been my connection back then...I have to give it another try....

That's the great thing about the Steam sale. I only paid $5 for it. If it sucks, it's no big deal.

I paid 7.50 for the tow of them. Amazon nad a sale about a month ago. And they both work on steam.

I didn't like that when they first started up either. They're much faster now. I get close to a 2 Mb/s download speed on most of the games I buy, even when downloading during peak times.
