Wiki mentions PvP for it, but only in passing: The Secret World - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The player characters will be customizable to a large degree, particularly in their choice of clothing (except in PvP, where players must wear faction-specific uniforms)

Thanks...I finally watched a trailer that appeared to have pvp in it...none of the others had what I thought was PVP

Thats a leap of faith...considering what little we know about it....I did that with Aion, Rift and recently Tera...im not doing it again...it gets expensive and disappointing

I pre-paid for War, Aion and Rift.

Out of those, War was my favorite because of the faction PvP...if the dev's hadn't continually changed the classes because of whining pussy-boys, I'd probably still be playing it. Three factions would have made it great. Aion had crappy PvP, but I loved to fly and fight. I've recently gone back to it on an independent F2P server...mainly to actually get a toon to the level cap. Rift was okay. It had good scenario-style PvP, but that was it. Otherwise it was a dungeon oriented game and...I don't do dungeons.

Since then, I've bought SW:TOR...but only after it was already out. It was a mistake and a waste of money. Tera, I passed on after reading reviews.

I love MMO's, but I'm discriminating more. I'll withhold my decision on Secret World and GW2 till I know more.

What is war ? World of warcraft ? between rift and aion rift was far better...tera is just well terrible....Im squatting on Secret World an guild wars2 theres more coming though.

It’s got a unique setting, a unique class and skill system, and three-faction PvP as well as ARG gameplay and mysteries that entire communities must solve. This is the kind of game that a lot of people have been wanting. It does things in a way that other games have been a little too scared to try. I do worry that it will be a little too niche, but something tells me that it will be hugely successful regardless so long as Funcom can make sure it’s ready to go at day one.

Ok this says it will have pvp...
