I quit wow last week after playing for about 5 years.
I was the leader of a guild of over 360 characters (approx 200+ individuals)

I'm kindof missing it, I was the battleground leader and spent more time with those people than I did real life friends, I knew them better than most people around me.
Hard to let go. Easy to do, but hard to deal with. I happen to be moving overseas and had no choice but to not renew my account.

The Guild is <Blood Pact> on Alterac Mountains Server (US)[Alliance].
It is a pure PvP guild. If anyone has interest or experience I would refer you to them.

Just felt like sharing. I will definitely miss them.

You should stay in touch with them. Im sure they wouldnt mind you dropping in Vent, TS, or whatever communication software that they use. You never know where it may lead you. I have several internet friends, some that I met many many years ago. We have stayed in touch even during times when we were not actively playing/doing the same things. As a result we will often time find ourselves back together again tearing some game up and having good times.

May I suggest a possible solution?

Open server.

Where are you moving to, MK?

perfect solution, there is a game called real life,it completely rules, well not so much i dont know anywhere in real life you can be a dark elf,but hey its life you learn as you go.

when ya get to be around my age(actually close to 26)you learn to not care about video games, they are fun and relaxing but achieving something in a video game is time you could have spent bettering your life.by all means that doesnt mean you cant play games, you are just going to hit a point where competition dies and you will be happier playing video games 4 hours a week vs everyday.

I just started playing myself again, it's so hard to pick this game back up, I have no idea what my rotation was on my DK.

dks are totally transformed... refer to Google and look up a standard dk rotation to start you out.
It would actually be more beneficial to refer to each talent description and work one out... you'll need a basic talent tree as well.

Go unholy. Frost is the most popular spec, I kill them- unholy is more troublesome in arena with persistent slows and more consistent damage output over time (from what I know playing with and fighting against them0 you could also join a guild and ask someone to mentor you for a bit.

im sorry.

i grew up playing nes and snes/psx/commodore 64.going from a few buttons to needing like 30 hotkeys is for someone younger than me.

200 accounts...
360+ toons, 200+ accounts...

run along now.

It was a joke. The only fun I had in WOW was playing with alts cause raiding was just lame as hell. I was in a guild with altaholics too. I only played for 2 months like a year ago, get to last level nothing to do.

I have about 340 something days (24hrs in realtime x 340+) played on my main level 85. Also the weird thing is once you know the game theres nothing to do but play at the last level. Leveling characters from 1-85 is the dregs of the game.

I was at 40 or so direct binds on my warrior. 50 something buttons and macros.

I am in heavy withdrawal.

What battlegroup is that on?

I've never played WoW, so I don't know what a battlegroup is.

I'm referring to a server that runs a version of the game...usually for free. They typically don't have restrictions on the geographical location of the player.

For example, I played the retail version of Aion for a year...from closed beta on. I got tired of the game and went on to other games. Recently, I decided to get back into the game (I missed my wings), but I didn't want to pay a subscription so I got into an open server that has all of the retail content but it's free. There are also no geographical restrictions like the retail game. It's common to see people in chat using a variety of languages.

So, if there are open servers available for WoW, you can still play the game...even from overseas. Of course, you'll have to start from level 1...and it would probably help if you can convince some of your friends to make the move with you...but the upside is that you won't have to completely give up the game.

Little to no point, I was a strictly player versus player. Without a battlegroup of several servers to fight with/against not much point.

I wouldn't worry about DK rotations. That class takes absolutely no brain, skill, or talent to play.

That's why I have one on my 2s arena team with my discipline priest. My priest could take a shotgun blast to the face and stand there laughing at you. Then I just let the op DK partner do his thing.

didnt play em much in a while, but before catyclism dk's were retarded to play as tanks, infact they were the hardest tanks to play, yet the most desired tanks because of their single target ability back in wrath of the lich king.

I used to play WoW and then I leveled. What was there to do? Battlegrounds. Boring. Very very boring. Dungeons? I dont feel like being at the edge of my seat for any longer than 20 minutes. I rather be surfing the web. My friend keeps trying to get me back playing and honestly its like unenjoyable work to me.
