World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria

I have completely quit wow due to the upcoming mists of pandaria, i can already see the new commercial

WORLD OF WARCRAFT:
"Hey everyone its me Jack Black and I am a kung fu panda!"
"Its padaren monk jack"
*Panda karate kicks camera and shatters it*

I mean seriously if you look at the new talent calculator they put up you will notice you now get one talent point every FIFTEEN levels; and you thought level grinding in wow was boring before! Now you have absolutely nothing to look forward to when leveling except the occasional new skill.

Also DK's now have an evil version of consecration. Really?

Alot of what your saying is true....except mists of pandaria is better than I expected...I said the same thing Pandas?? really!!!!
The explanation for easing lvling difficulty...is that blizz feels you cant make lvling from zero to 90 take a year or more for a casual player...they will give up and quit...a part of that makes sense.

Blizz also felt the game had gotten to confusing for many noobs starting out....too many talents and abilities and stats to learn...the learning curve was getting HUGE....

I remember the days in vanilla getting one shotted by geared players getting 3 to 4k crits

My opinion is get rid of resillience...that will even pvp up and just allow for gear and weapon advantages over pve guys.....im willing to give mists a shot..

Tera I had hopes for and it sucks imo...Diablo3 I dont even want to play after deleting the beta...

Well, diferent experience here: On both my tank and healer, as soon as I could join dungeons, that's all I did, and I leveled faster. I didn't feel 'the grind'. It was one dungeon after the next. Quests were rare as I only got them the first time I did a new dungeon. I looked forward to the next dungeon and boss drops more than anything else. Qualifying for an item I bought off the AH was another incentive.

Getting new spells and whatnot was always welcome, of course, but it meant taking a little time modifying a macro or addon more than satisfying a goal.

Wen it came time to level the obligatory huntard, I had that toon so decked out in BoAs and popping consumables that leveling only took a few days, from 1-85. Belonging to a guild with the +exp perk helped, as did requesting buy specific dungeon runs days in advance (guildies always refused the gold, but folks are more likely to help when they don't feel you're trying to take advantage).

I always felt the talent trees were a bit bloated. Shatter for my mage and Mortal Strike for my warrior being examples of the exceptions. I wouldn't mind 15 levels until a talent if getting that talent changed the way you played your character.

I couldn't agree more. The talent trees got to the point where I didn't care what they said anymore, I just went to ElitistJerks.com and built my toon's talents however their example was, using their priority queue list as a guide to compose my macros. The system had become to bloated and complicated. I just wanted to play.

Thats what most everyone did...elitistjerks and wowpopular.com and noxxic.com.

Pvp in cata is absurd with godmode healers and tanks. Its pretty ridiculous to have a toon with 4600 resillience and tons of atp agil etc and cant kill a tank or a healer solo and that goes for alot of toons....there is no balance in pvp in cata because of the godmode heals and tanks..

I still really enjoy Pandaria, the music and everything. People snark about leveling battle pets, but that's fun too, and more experience is always a good thing. But monks? My favorite class. Gotta be.
