Open mod positions - heads up

All,

Just giving a heads up.

The mod team has decided to cool off for a bit (about two weeks) before adding more mods. This was decided so that the newest mods can get their feet wet and understand our mod tools. Plus, we want a bit of time and visit the balance of the mods so that a major balance shift does not happen one way or the other.

Thanks for being patient with us!

I caught that tec, but didn't say anything. lol

teacher is *not* a DP moderator. The goal is to clean up the basment and put the threads in their place - open free speech is still very much reality down there. Hopefully, this will encourage the basement goers when teacher gets it nice and shiney - the quality posts will have their perch and the thoughtless posts will have their places as well. We believe organizing the basement will bring it to a new level and actually get the respectable posts attention they deserve.

Tidy up in this case refers to threads. He cannot delete threads or posts. He will be moving them within the basement fora.

He also can, and most likely will, argue to the mod team that certain posts would be better served upstairs. In that case, if the mod team agrees, we will take his advice and move the thread upstairs.
