those websites, confirming my accurate characterizations, are filled with Verifiable facts, incidents, history, law. Both Current and recent past.
Many more available.

When somebody blows up a church on Christmas Day and murders scores of people, why is it necessary to talk about 'the dynamics of the conflict'? It's murder, pure and simple, carried out in the name of religion. Or was it accidental that the target was a church and the bombing was done on the most holy day of the Christian year?

mbig is right on, the facts are just that, FACTS! Deal with it or continue to make excuses. Islam must be reformed from within. All of our attempts to force change through nation building are futile. We must be on the defense while encouraging reform in a discrete manner.

because its a political debate forum! What else do you think we should talk about? There is only so much you can say about how suicide bombing is bad. It is certainly a sectarian conflict between people who happen to be Muslim and people who happen to be Christian and no doubt the religeon is a component of that but there are multiple other variables (as those who actually know jack **** about the conflict could tell us if they where allowed to) . If it was simply a case of people having different theological beliefs, waking up one day and spontaniously deciding to kill each other then the history of the Islamic world wouldnt have so many examples of relative peaceful coexistence with other faiths. But its impossible to have an adult disscussion about this on here because if i discuss such examples I'm penalised for going off topic and if i compare to other examples then i am accused of bashing Christiality (a religeon i still have a soft spot for, far more then any other) . I just wish you could do me the favor of actually taking what i say at face value rather then being accused of ulterior motives , then we could have a discussion where we actually learn something.

Sometimes the truth is contorversial. Just because you disagree with someone dosn't make them wrong. I deal in facts, facts that lead me to the conclusions I have reached. If you disagree thats fine. However, I am not going away. And I will continue to tell the truth no mater how much you dislike me, misterman.
 
Back to the topic, I wasn't a DP member last year at this time, and so my response to the criticism of resurrecting an old thread is that in this case, it seems appropriate and useful.

Sad that Christmas Eve services continue to be marred by those who think nothing of murdering innocent people.

What is more interesting is how the vast majority of those who defend Islam refexively never manage to express any objection to terrorism at all.
