12 people were killed in a bomb attack against the presidential guard in Tunisia:

Blast kills 12 in Tunisia as terrorists target presidential guard - FT.com

I don't want to speculate on who it might be - it's quite possible that it was the Japanese Red Brigade. It may be that a visiting group of Buddhists did something. It may even be possible that aliens from Mars are launching a pre-emptive attack on the Earth, and see Tunisia as a strategic landing point.

But certainly it should never be implied that a particular religion with a long track record of violence that Leftists get upset over when fingers are pointed in its direction could even remotely be involved here, even as a pretext. Because, you know, no matter how many bombs go off and no matter how many people die, it's always important to be Politically Correct and to toe the line for our Left-wing minders.

Oh, for crying out loud. Glad to see the 12 people dead are making a big enough pile to stand atop while you castigate "leftists" for not running in terror from every person in a turban.

The truth matters... bodies or not.

And what, exactly, is "the truth" here?

That is was most likely islam terrorists involved in the attack... AND it is most likely for the left to ignore problems for the sake of being politically correct.

My parents are from India - I have a picture of my dad in a turban from their wedding day, but it's ceremonial. I don't know that Tunisians wear turbans, though.

But Islamist terrorist movements are able to span the globe, reaching from one part of the world to another. Islam has enabled terrorism to become fungible. Al-Qaeda can recruit a student from North Africa to show up in Afghanistan to blow up a key Taliban opponent. That then serves as quid pro quo for Taliban to greenlight Bin Laden in launching the 9/11 attacks against America. Because Islam spans the world, it then provides the basic network through which terrorist fanatics from within it can operate.

Of course, that would assume that "the left" is "ignoring" terrorism, which is only true in your asinine fever dreams.

The Left isn't quite ignoring terrorism, it's making common cause with it, aligning with the sentiments of those who carry it out.

This helps to legitimize terrorism, and give it a seal of approval.

I don't care if your parents are from Mars. Your motive here is clear ... fear all Muslims, 'cuz they're all out to kill you.

And your motive is - bring everybody including the kitchen sink into America, because you fear all Repubs as being out to kill you, and you need to drown them out or dilute their votes with whoever you can find.

I don't even know what the hell this is supposed to be.

I think that is hyperbole... and it shows you have no leg to stand on

Remember folks: ISIS is contained!

Here's some clues as to who might have carried out the attack for those in doubt/denial:

"According to the preliminary details, the attacker was wearing a bag on his back," Hichem Gharbi, a presidential security official, told local Shems FM radio.

"He had on a coat and was wearing headphones. He blew himself up just getting into the door of the bus with military explosives."

Marzouki "was informed by the interior ministry that he had been targeted in an assassination plan", a ministry spokesman told AFP, adding that it was planned by a "terrorist" group.
