North Dakota to Pay Abortion Clinic $245K [W:36]

I am saying that religion is not the topic of the thread. Most vocal pro-lifers have the ability to speak (and without this they probably would not be vocal pro-lifers), but the process of vocalization isn't the topic either.

My comment was about the topic, you started with the "ooh Peter King hates religion" nonsense/lie (not just in this thread but also in at least one other thread). Religious views about abortion do matter because it is religious leaders and religious extremists who are among the most hardcore pro-lifers.

I'm sorry, but religion simply isn't the topic here. If you want to complain about how awful religion is, make a thread in philosophy or religion/politics.

Well, it is about abortion and a big part of the discussion in the actions and the extremist lengths pro-life religious extremists and activists will go to in order to rob women of their right to choose.

So religion may not be the topic, but it is part of the issue. And I am not complaining about religion as a whole but the religious pro-life extremists.

Ad hominem.

The given argument against abortion does not depend on religious grounds. So speculation about motives is fallacious.

That is your opinion, good for you. I have a different opinion and I am going to talk about it when I want to (if and when I feel it is appropriate).

And fact is that the pro-life extremist circles are very religiously driven and their sole goal is to rob women of what is a constitutional right.

This thread is not about your obsessive hatred of religion.

I see now that I shouldn't have helped you derail.

What the heck?

So you're complaining about something that has nothing to do with the thread topic because of your own biases and issues.

Good to know.

Good to know you ignore reality once again, there is a clear correlation between the robbing of a woman's right and extremist religious anti-abortion organizations/politicians who base their vile disgust for women's freedom on their religious books and more importantly their intolerant leaders.

He does that a lot. Honestly, he seems to have an obsession with religion. He regularly brings it up in threads having nothing to do with it.

What does it have to do with? And I don't think the Catholic Church would agree with you.

North Dakota to Pay Abortion Clinic $245K

I wonder if this will teach the state of North Dakota to leave abortion alone? If I were a taxpayer there, I'd be furious at them wasting my money making unconstitutional laws.

Truth be told, a couple of years ago that was the consensus among many in the state. A few of the biggest proponents of the law were voted out in the subsequent election. However, given the massive budgetary problems that currently exist, this episode has quickly faded from memory.
