Many posters have posted information in this thread....that you devalue everyone else's opinion, including other pro-life people's, in over 250 posts, as of no value only reinforces the evidence of your inability to process information correctly and discuss effectively.

You are arguing impreciseness of definitions. Whatever you consider is irrelevant. It's not a parasite. It's a fetus.

Ah, the "it does not follow" logical fallacy. No, the individual is misfortunate. Everything you posted after that is your own opinion and entirely irrelevant. Just because you want to call them those things, doesn't mean they are.

As a male facing this decision, I could only encourage my girlfriend, for our first abortion at the time (of three) that she needed to do what her heart felt. I was with her 100% and supported her either way. She was 10 weeks pregnant.

I think what really helped us both through this was seeing pictures of the ultra sound and realizing this wasn't a baby growing inside her. It was only an inch long clump of cells, incapable of feeling pain, incapable of possessing all the viability that life allows us to possess, incapable of having a soul (her words, I'm not religious and don't particularly believe in a soul). So to make the call was very easy and comforting once the doctor explained to us that what was growing inside of her wasn't a human being yet, but a parasite who was using her bodies nutrients for growth. She was given pain meds and muscle relaxers and she said it was literally as easy to get rid of the parasite as it was to take out the trash. No emotion involved whatsoever, because what she had growing inside her wasn't a kid yet.

It's true that fetus' do act parasitic, but since you blew your load between your girlfriends legs and she wasn't raped, it was there because of a choice. I fully agree that she has every right to remove the fetus as she sees fit, but framing an argument by demonizing the fetus is dishonest. The fetus was there because of her (and your) poor choices and lack of responsibility.

Why do you ASSume they weren't? I once knew a woman who got pregnant 3 times on the pill. Each time her doctor changed the prescription to a different kind.
