On Roe Anniversary, Let’s Remember the U.S. Women for Whom Abortion...

The government takes actions the people are opposed to all the time.
Some people. Unanimity was not mentioned.

Then perhaps people like yourself should stop demanding other people pay for them. Just a thought.
Think harder, because I did not demand that you pay for anything.

You find being caught with a lie amusing?

Abortion is not "a right".
Technically you are right, but splitting hairs on a bald man's head is not a winning strategy.

There is nothing in the law that says that anyone is required to provide one to them.
Who said anything about that?

If you want an abortion, go buy one.
Yes, that is what people do. Do you have anything that is not common knowledge or relevant?

Can't afford either?

Not really my problem.
Not one that you are able to recognize outright...

Exactly. I'm opposed to paying for the welfare state, so the obvious solution to that problem is to end the welfare state.
There are places in the world without them. Perhaps you and jay should move there and save yourselves all this angst.

Have you ever paid for someone's abortion? Were you forced to?
I pay taxes, tax dollars go to abortion providers. Where do you think the government gets it's money?

You implied that conclusion when I said you are not paying for it.

No, I was speaking towards this.

But forgotten in this debate is that, for many women in the United States, safe and legal abortion has long been out of reach. Since 1976, the Hyde Amendment has severely restricted abortion coverage for low-income women enrolled in Medicaid, making real reproductive choice a privilege of those who can afford it.

To counter the harmful impact of this long-standing policy, supporters of abortion rights in Congress have coalesced behind a bill that would lift the Hyde Amendment. The Equal Access to Abortion Coverage in Health Insurance (EACH Woman) Act would restore Medicaid abortion coverage so that our country’s poorest women no longer face a financial barrier to safe and legal abortion care.

Taxes pay for government services.

Intelligent people know how to tell fact from propaganda.

Selling the souls of crooked politicians?

Are you claiming tax dollars do NOT go to abortion providers?

No, I was speaking towards this.
So you are just opposing the proposed repeal of the Hyde amendment?
Also tell me, do you agree with everything else the in government expenditures and if not do you put the same effort in all that you oppose?

So you are just opposing the proposed repeal of the Hyde amendment?

I'm opposing their proposal to have the government pay for elective abortion.

Also tell me, do you agree with everything else the in government expenditures and if not do you put the same effort in all that you oppose?

Repeal 1913 and everything else follows.

I'm opposing their proposal to have the government pay for elective abortion.
Just to be clear, you oppose that on principle, since in actuality it is a saving measure, if only the dollars matter. To take it one step further, if you oppose it on principle, would there be a cut off point if the cost saving would exceed a certain level?

I accept your concession.
Because you can not prove your point and believe ignorant talking points and right wing propaganda. I hope that in real life you will manage better victories than self declared ones based on ignorance.

Just to be clear, you oppose that on principle, since in actuality it is a saving measure, if only the dollars matter. To take it one step further, if you oppose it on principle, would there be a cut off point if the cost saving would exceed a certain level?

No, it wouldn't matter how much it saves. I'm opposed to paying for abortion. Period.

Are you claiming tax dollars do NOT go to abortion providers?

They go to facilities that provide abortions among many other services, such as PP and hospitals, but no federal funds go to the specific "service" of abortion.

Do you understand the disctinction?

Yeah, great idea, eliminate medicaid. Typical libertarian lunacy.

Pretending the country isn't horribly in debt while also pretending the Constitution authorizes any such thing...

Yeah, that's socialist lunacy, on both counts.

Oh please. Medicaid is not "unconstitutional."
