Authorities still keeping motive of Planned Parenthood shooter quiet

I know that Colorado Springs is one of the most conservative cities in the country but this is ridiculous.

Mr. Dear frequently disrupted the proceedings in state court here, shouting out declarations of anger and defiance.
“I’m guilty. There’s no trial. I’m a warrior for the babies,” he yelled at one point. “Let it all come out. The truth!” he yelled at another.

According to one law-enforcement official, Mr. Dear said “no more baby parts” to investigators after his arrest. But authorities have not publicly ascribed a motive to the shooting.

Cruz said Dear might be transgender, so we can't jump conclusions on motive... unless the suspect is Muslim. Then jumping to conclusions is mandatory.
 
Politicizing a tragedy seems to be too.
 
I doubt that a man who killed people, had a criminal history, drummed on and on about the world coming to an end, who beat his ex wife all the while getting other women pregnant while married actually GIVES a single damn about someone else's unborn maybe kids and some sort of moral and ethical standards of Planned Parenthood.

Odds are he just went off and killed some people because he had the inkling to do it and threw out whatever random thoughts came to mind.

You know - classic 'excuse for my depravity' grade nutjob.

Quiet? What a bunch of bull****... did you see him in court today?

He is bat **** to the limit ass backwards crazy... calling himself "a defender of babies" and referred to his own defense council as "(puppets) hiding the truth." He may not even stand trial due to competency and sanity.

He is going to end up heavily drugged, highly guarded, and institutionalized in mental health terms for life. They cannot even enter a plea yet he is so out of control.

He says he's guilty, so let him plead to the charges, then sentence him to death.

He has, in the past, glued the locks on a PP clinic. I have no doubt he's anti choice and has a vendetta against PP.

It's not politicizing, it's recognizing fact and a threat.

It's recognizing that the deliberately misrepresented PP videos tipped a nutcase over the edge and he killed people according to that shared agenda. ("baby parts!")

Recognizing the irresponsibility (and that's putting it mildly) of the dishonest video creators/distributors and calling it out may save lives in the future.

This man deliberately targeted PP...that's true...not politicized...and by being on guard for further threats, more lives may be saved in the future.

Just don't go there, we both know the moment his competency is looked at any admission of guilt goes right out the window. The last thing this case needs is legal challenge complications over stupidity at this stage of the process.

I'm sure that kind of belief is comforting to pro-life supporters.

If he believes he's supporting babies, then he is. You don't get to arbitrarily modify a criminal's intents simply because they coincide with your own.

Again, you are free to believe whatever you want. I'll try to form beliefs from the evidence.
 
If this guy were Muslim he'd be called a jihadi or a terrorist.

Some disturbed Muslim Extremist does anything at all

"YAH KNOW WE SHOULD REALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT THOSE MUSLIMS THEY ARE DANGEROUS!!!!!!".

Forgetting that since 9/11, Americans have murdered Americans by around about 16-17k a year.

That's 75 9/11's since 9/11 in murder alone within the country.

I am sick of this tactic from the right wing. You enrage people with false political rhetoric and when they act violently you claim no responsibility and accuse anyone trying to hold you accountable for it of politicizing a tragedy. So much for the right wing being about "personal responsibility".
