So what? We're in a maxima. My first problem is comparing year to year average temperatures. It would be better to compare temperature distributions. My second problem, or your problem, is that the rate of change in average temperature has plateaued. So what if the 2005 average temperature was 0.01 degree higher than 2004! (or whatever it is!) We are talking tenths of a degree in average temperature.

Attempts to extrapolate temperature increases over the decade is flawed.

Untrue.

You read a cherry-picked stolen email with was taken out of context.

Yeah yeah, cherry picked. Sure, if they lied and conspired in one email, then they did it in others too. Or do you think they retracted their lies in the other emails.

Doesn't matter that it was cherry-picked or stolen, they were authenticated as admitted by the authors and they demonstrate peer-review coercion, journal board manipulations, data hiding, paper exclusion, and possible data corruption.

Re: Climatologists Baffled by Global Warming Time-Out

I doubt they discussed their lies in every email....some of them were probably about what to have for lunch.

I don't get your gist. Please explain.

A rate of 0.01 might seem small, but it is not. Fact is we have "only" warmed by 0.6° C or 1.08° F, over the past 30 years. Doesn't seem like much, but yet it is.

And if you think this one email is the whole of it......no wonder you believe in global warming.

This email is just the tip of the proverbial melting iceberg.

Go ahead and knee-jerk, that is your prerogative. Me, I have doubts that need to be answered, such as:

1) What emails have we not seen? (after all, those who stole have an agenda)
2) Have they been altered? (after all, those who stole have an agenda)
3) Hearing the side of those who penned them (things get taken out of context all of the time)

That's just for starters...

It does. You shouldn't jump the gun.
