Climatologists Baffled by Global Warming Time-Out

Quote:
Global warming appears to have stalled. Climatologists are puzzled as to why average global temperatures have stopped rising over the last 10 years. Some attribute the trend to a lack of sunspots, while others explain it through ocean currents.

At least the weather in Copenhagen is likely to be cooperating. The Danish Meteorological Institute predicts that temperatures in December, when the city will host the United Nations Climate Change Conference, will be one degree above the long-term average.

Otherwise, however, not much is happening with global warming at the moment. The Earth's average temperatures have stopped climbing since the beginning of the millennium, and it even looks as though global warming could come to a standstill this year.
Stagnating Temperatures: Climatologists Baffled by Global Warming Time-Out - SPIEGEL ONLINE - News - International

Each time someone posts that the earth has not warmed for the past 10 years, an alarmist (Middleground) immediately replies that the Earth continues to warm and cites NASA GISS data to "prove" it. This despite increasing numbers of climate scientists that are admitting the obvious truth. She never bothers to respond when shown how inaccurate the GISS temperature data set is.

Give up, you can't argue with the truth. The earth is not warming and according to many scientists, will not warm any more for at least 15-20 years.

It's not science to them, it's religion.

They're no different than the Creationists. The facts don't matter, their feelings matter.

The key fact, the fact that they reject with all their heart, is that the current cooling trend falsifies all AGW theories, since not a single one of them predicted a decade or more long cooling period.
