It's Official - Belief in Global Warming is an Official Religion

We've been saying it for years, but now a British Court has made it official. Belief in climate change now has the same protections as religious beliefs.

Quote:
In a landmark ruling, Mr Justice Michael Burton said that "a belief in man-made climate change ... is capable, if genuinely held, of being a philosophical belief for the purpose of the 2003 Religion and Belief Regulations".
Climate change belief given same legal status as religion - Telegraph

Why am I not surprised?? In a country where a fanatical environmentalist group can be found not guilty of property damage when they admit it, anything is possible.

Re: It's Official - Belief in Global Warming is an Official Religion

So, since Global Warming is now a religion, that means we're free to mock it and insult it and everyone will cheer us on?

We can insist on the "Seperation of Global Warming and State"?

We can deny global warming advocates access to the public forum, or the use of public facilities, or the right to speak freely on public land?

We can take down their symbols and posters from any public place?

We can accuse them of trying to "legislate morality" and insist that they must "put aside their Global Warming principles for the duration of their service in elective or appointive office"?

Re: It's Official - Belief in Global Warming is an Official Religion

Hopefully that means the mods will start sticking man made global warming/man made climate change articles in the correct forum section from now on. Which is the Religion & Philosophy forum section, although conspiracy forum section works just as well too.

I don't think that we are allowed to totally disrespect them (like piss on IPCC studies, etc.) until Al Gore is crucified and rises from the dead!
