Cattle’s farming is destroying the rain forest in Brazil.

Cattle’s farming is destroying the rain forest in Brazil. How could we avoid that without damaging the Brazilian economy?

Cattle farming account for more than 7 billion dollar a year in Brazil’s exports. However, this practice is the most important cause of the tearing down of the rain forest. How could it be possible to solve this issue?

I rememberbeing so scared as a fourth grader, after the horror stories being told about the rainforests being destroyed, and how that in 10-15 years, they would all be gone. I remember writing a thing about how when I grew up I wanted to be an environmentalist, so I could help save the rainforest.

20 years later, and the rainforest is nowhere near being destroyed.

Yeah, I remember that stuff too. The first Earth Day crap I was exposed too was... 5th grade? Yeah, I think so, 5th grade, Clark Air Base PI, 1985? That sounds right. Brought the stuff home and showed my father and was all concerned. He took one look, read it a bit then called it all crap and muttered something about "how can such crap be taught in a DOD school?" I was mad at him for not caring...

Now my kids are getting the SAME crap and I'm doing the muttering about public schools....

Go figure.

Last night my dad and I had a couple of fat Tbones slow smoked over a mesquite grill, marinated in a nice buttery garlic marinade, with some skewered shrimp, baked potatoes and lima beans.

You really have no idea what you are missing.

First we need facts, information to support this notion.
