Yep, I read about that on another forum (shhh, don't tell anyone I'm not exclusively DP), but its to the point that there is so much to be outraged about, I simply have no energy to be anymore than "not surprised" that there is more to worry about. And wouldn't you know it, its another thing (flat-screen tvs) that americans probably won't give up for the sake of the environment.

God I hope so. I know its not going to happen in my lifetime(even though I feel it should have already). I am hopeful we take the idea of colonizing space seriously. Right now, all our eggs are in one basket, with the exception of whoever is on that space station.
