If you're trying to make a partisan issue of the support of the terrorism mentioning the Mujahideen, doesn't help your case. Sure it was initiated by Carter, but it initially enjoyed bipartisan support and was later carried out rather enthusiastically by Reagan as a cornerstone of the "Reagan Doctrine"
