Now do I agree with this...no, of course not. However, I look at it this way...one of the great things about where I live is that people have a right to believe whatever they wish. I cannot denigrate another group for their beliefs and if Latin America wants to subscribe to this belief and adhere to the condom ban, then that's their deal.
However, it's their idiocy that they cherry pick which parts of the doctrine to adhere to. I mean, if they were having sex for the proper reasons and in the right relationships (according to Catholic doctrine), they would have no need for the condoms anyway. Funny how they keep having the sex but still don't use the condoms. That's their fault, not the catholic church's. |
