Re: Mom and Dad banned in California schools, offends gays.

Please.

Tempest in a teacup.

"The bills signed by Schwarzenegger include SB777, which bans anything in public schools that could be interpreted as negative toward homosexuality, bisexuality and other alternative lifestyle choices."

Good. Public schools have no business promoting one type of family over another.

Also signed was AB394, which targets parents and teachers for such indoctrination through "anti-harassment" training, CCF said.

So, public schools will be teaching fundamentalist spawn not to harrass others.
Poor little tykes.
I'll bet that'll work out about as well as abstinence training has.

""This means children as young as five years old will be mentally molested in school classrooms. Many parents will have no choice but to pull their children out of the public schools that have now become sexualized indoctrination centers."

Aw, boo hoo hoo. We're all really, really going to miss them.

Thomasson said SB777 prohibits any "instruction" or school-sponsored "activity" that "promotes a discriminatory bias" against "gender" – the bill's definition includes cross-dressing and sex changes – as well as "sexual orientation."

Awesome.
Sounds like a real step in the right direction.
I think it will be terrific if the conservo-fundy-bots all pull their kids out of school.
Who the hell wants their babies associating with such human garbage, anyway?

You know, I'm surprised the mainstream media hasn't picked up this story.
I couldn't even find an AP article about it.
