Let's just face it...most religious people can't agree with other people of their own religion. There are so many sects to every religion. The reason that so many religions are splitting is simple. The need to make a connection with your "god" is really simply a need to make a connection with the part of yourself you keep in the dark. Any "higher communication" that is claimed objective is really subjective-or some form of schizophrenia.
The more individual that people become (the more complex they become) the higher the possibility that their "god" will not agree with someone elses. This started with the protestants. It is just splitting further, branching off. Eventually every individual will have their own "sect" of some religion.
