Its not that they dont want to win... its that they don't think its possible to win, or that the cost of winning the war is not worth the gains. No rational person would say that the Democrats as a whole want to lose the war in Iraq. Even if they were so evil and conniving as you want them to be... they don't need the monumental failures of the Republican party in Iraq to win this election. They have screwed up enough in other areas to garantee the Democrats the presidency and a bigger majority in the house and senate.
