Sure, the Islamic side is interested to have this number reported high, because the solidarity thing and how strong they are and so. The Iraqi side is intersted to have this number reported high, because it's not that much their fault then, if there are still fightings. The Americans have an interest to have have this number reported high, because it makes them look better if they fight against international terrorist than against people who defend their own country. Additionally they can blame Syria or Iran for not securing the borderline well enough.

From reading your post here one would conclude you know all the intellegence there is to know about this region and all the countries and tribes plans and operations connected with it. But isn't the truth you do not, just like the rest of us? What I do know is this is the haeven for everyone to look like everyone else. That is the door for the taliban and therefore they are there.
