I had no idea that Chomsky was extremely influential. do you have evidence that he is? when was the last time his views appeared in the mainstream media? how are the left goosestepping along with him into political irrelevance? how is it irrelevant? please give examples of kneejerk anti-American and anti-west crap originating from Chomsky that have been picked up by the left on an "extreme" scale. please provide evidence that moderates have been influenced by Chomsky and reacted to his message in the opposite direction.

I generally hope that conclusions are based upon evidence. your evidence is ... a hunch? a couple of anecdotes?
