Sweetheart,
You don't have to understand why Palestinians have existed in Palestine for so long, or how you live on land taken from them by force. You dont have to understand that Palestinians believe in all the prophets, and view Jerusalem as a holy city to our belief in all of them. You don't have to understand the ancient history and anthropological links we Palestinians have to this land. We understand the strong efforts made by many to erase our history, lineage, religious reverence and bloodline to this holy land. We hope you understand that we will not let you intimidate us out of Palestine through occupation, and we hope you understand that if the settlements are not removed, Palestinian refugees allowed back home, Jerusalem returned and a sovereign Palestinian state established for the occupied people...then there will come a day when all your force will eventually create the rising masses...after all your nukes are exasperated on us, there will still be more to come for liberation. And a single, unified, bi-national Palestine will be Established...and Arab Christian and jew will live under one Palestine in justice just like the 1400 years that preceded the Zionist conquest. I will always believe that God is greater than Zion.
Your unbased dreams remind me the same dreams of Shiekh Salah.

And the best response to the dreams of Shiekh Salah will be the response of Israel's Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger who urged authorities to prosecute Salah to the full extent of the law:
His protests are based on lies, illusions, and anti-Semitic preachings

are you a settler by any chance?

So. We finally have it. From your lips to our ears. The all or nothing proclamation. Once again, a potent and unambiguous rejection of the two-state solution coupled with the customary ultimatums and threats. Oy vey.

Tashah,

Yes indeed, I will not accept a unilaterally imposed Zionists fascade of a two state solution who's plan for a palestinian state is an autonomous bantustan in the wall and military/settlement besieged west bank cities and a gaza open air prison.

Either grant the Palestinians equal rights and unify the holy land and become a real democracy not an apartied occupier. Or withdraw to the 67 borders and give the Palestinian natives their rights to a contiguous homeland. Option three is that time will catch up to this racist system and the people will eventually establish justice.

From your lips to our ears

Actually from my laptop to your screen...heheh.... does too much falafel make you dizzy? Does that to me when I over eat...I cant help it, theyre so scrumptious..

Off the top of my head, I would say that curfew's are imposed in both Jenin and Qalqiliya more than anywhere else in Palestine. Probably, these two cities account for 80% of all curfew instances.

Nope. You missed Bethlehem, Nablus, Hebron, Ramallah, who have all had extremely long curfews and shoot to kill policies. When My uncle sharif was murdered by the Israeli Army, there was a curfew on most major cities in the west bank and my relatives could not get to his burial because of that.

Of course you don't because you're lying clerics have brainwashed you into hating jews, Americans, Brits, and all other non-islamics.

Of course you don't want peace those who support terrorists never want to have peace.

Shame on you sir.

You are owned by the lies you were force-fed from birth until now.

Forum Mods,

Why is this idiot Vader still allowed to participate in this part of the forums. Shouldn't he be in the basement?

I am very disappointed, Jenin. In the past, when I asked that moderate Palestinians speak out against their radical brethean, you stated you would if you saw some here. Your true views have now been exposed, and fit the bill of a radical anti-Israeli, not a pro-Palestinian. What of the compromise I came up with on another thread that you complimented? It had nothing about obliterating the two-state situation. It had nothing about Jerusalem being Palestinian. You use the word Zion in such a bastardized way that it loses its true meaning when you say it. It is about a Jewish homeland. Christians, Arabs, Muslims, Swedes, etc... have nothing to do with the word. Please use it correctly. These and other positions of yours are exactly why your people continue to suffer: the myopic aim towards dismatling Israel, regardless of cost. Your people have consitently refused anything other then what they demanded in 1947. This is why they are in the position they are in. You readily admit that your people are suffering. Instead of looking for solutions, you look for blame. Blame offers no solutions. Has blaming the Israeli done anything for the Palestinians. I think not. If your people want solutions, they must look, as I've said, into themselves. Not electing/supporting a government that calls for Israel's destruction would be one solution. Tell me, Jenin, has this policy helped your people over the past 59 years? No, you are right were you were. Calling for an end to the violence and cracking down on militants that don't adhere to this would be another solution. Tell me, Jenin, has no real policy for this over the past 59 years helped your people? No, you are right where you were. These are policies and behaviors that have failed, time and time again, yet they do not change. Here's an old saying for you, that I think identifies what your people struggle with: 'The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.'

Your leaders care nothing of your people or they would recognize that it is their policies that continue to bring on hardship to them. Your leaders only care about blaming and destroying Israel...at any cost. And if further military action takes place, your people will not be saved, no matter what you think.

Really? What happened, enforced, on the inhabitants of the Byzantine empire when Constantine officially became a Christian?
Crusades, Byzantine occupation of Palestine and greater Syria, hundred years war in Europe, the Spanish Inquisition...just a few examples that contradict your statement.

OK. I'll break this down for you so that it isn't too hard for you to understand. What I said before you went off on an entirely different topic was a matter on Christianity's roots. Islam's beginnings conquered with the sword. Muhammed himself shed blood over his descriptions of Islam. Chrsitianity's beginnings involved a pacifist and a following. After the death of Christ, the following went into hiding and those that were caught were executed. Christianity should not have survived. Yet, eventually, the movement spread throughout the Roman Empire and consumed it. It did this on its message not the sword.

Once again, dodging the issue doesn't cut it. The Crusades, Byzantine empire, Salem witch burnings and even Pat Robertson came well after Christiasnity spread through its message.

As a Muslim, I do not agree that prophet Jesus the messiah son of Mary was crucified. Dan brown, lol, seems to concur my belief.

And this is why your world is a wreck. Who cares what you believe? It's just a religion. This is why America prospers and the Middle East does not. You cling to religion as your blind guide and assume a measure of wisdom from it.

You must know a very selective little about the prophet Muhammad.
Apparantly, so does the hundreds of millions that cheer for Islamic "martyrs." And of course the Bin Ladden types always find it easy to find a legion of followers based on Muhammed's teachings don't they? It's you who are being selective about your Prophet.

Muslims are obliged to never make war, to be Muslims (at peace), to love the earth (not cut down a tree) to be just (never transgress) to feed the poor (zakat). However, in the Noble Quran they are commanded to fight only in the path of God. "O ye who believe, fight those who evict you from your homes because you say 'Our god is The One God' and if they cease to fight you then do not transgress"

And this pretty much sums it up doesn't it? Are you aware that the Muslims Brotherhood claims land as far as Spain as belonging to them? Here is the grave differences in the religions. We can speak all day about the harshness in the Old Testament and how men killed in "Gods" army, but this is not Christianity. Violence is a healthy alternative for Muslims and in the wrecked Middle East it doesn't take much to convince the masses that someone took something from you and that blood needs to be shed over it.

Your own words..."noble Qu'ran." It's....a....book. You, my man, demonstrate the zealousy that drives men to strap bombs to themselves.

Interesting, but I gathered from an excellent book titled "Native American voices a history and anthology" that some native American tribes who pleaded for an end to their murder and eviction off ancestral lands that they must first be Christianized and end their savage ways by assimilating into the white man's culture...and of course most of the time that was not enough and they would still be discriminated against just because of their race even after becoming Christian.

And? You tried to use the pioneering period as a great religious movement to explain away your world and my reply was that it had very little to do with religion. Now you come back with a reading that reflected on "some" tribes that were subjected to this. You're not showing me anything here. You can't go from an exaggerated wide movement to "some."

Extremely rare cases

Doesn't matter does it? Muslims kill and excuse themselves because of this type of example. This is why Christian murder can never be excused or explained away. It was never a prescription set by Jesus.

Need I note how science academia and philosophy was nearly wiped out of 'Christian' Europe until the emergence of Islam and the Arab renaissance and translation of ancient Greek text and the advances of Algebra Geometry Astrology Literature from Baghdad to Cordoba?

Let's not start exaggerating again here. What does this have to do with what I said? Are you now attempting to excuse the Islamic expansionism into the West (which was far more brutal and longer than the Crusades), because there was Western benefit? I guess you have no problem with our function in Iraq then for the Middle East.

The prophet Muhammad did prophesies that Byzentine Constantinople and Persian Cetesphon would become Muslim, but in the case of ruthless Turkish conquest of Constantinople and the Balkans (nearly a thousand years after the prophet's emergence), it was not a wish of the prophet. I ask you to provide a Quranic Verse or Hadith that asks Muslims to commit atrocities against a people. Although I can find many such verses in the Bible.

So now you need a Bible versus Qu'ran war? You are all over the place with excuse and exoneration aren't you? This is earth and reality. It doesn't really matter what a book say's does it? Christians have evoked violence through the Bible. Mulsims evoke violence through Muhammed. The Prophets are the two defining roots of these movements.

What you said about spain was in the age of the Arab Caliphates, not the Ottoman Sultanates.

Oops. I mixed the two.

A terrorist outlaw by the name of Abu Musab al-zarqawi instigated this. He is dead and in hell. To even hint that Sunni Arabs support the civil war is wrong and untrue. Hundreds of conferences have been held condemning the Shia 'death squads and the Zarqawis.

And the indoctrination persists. So, you are stating the individual Zarqawi was evil. But the "House of Saud" that spreads it's brutal fundamentalism, Syria's encouragment with it's open borders, and the plethora of bombs set off by Sunni since his death are a seperate issue. You finger the individual Sunni and the Shi'a death squads and adhere to this false Sunni condemnation?

Let me guess...you are Sunni.

I don't think so, the entire world community knows a free Palestine is a free west bank, east Jerusalem and Gaza.

Define "free."

Wrong. Saudi political and financial encouragement in Lebanon is immense. It is probably the largest foreign funder and investor in Lebanon. The 'April 14' coalition lead by Sinyora and late Hariri's son is a direct beneficiary of immense Saudi/American support.

Um...no, you are fooled. We were speaking in regards to terror. Not Saudi's diplomatic table manners and Arab false fronts. A "free" and democratic Muslim nation is not in the best interest of the House of Saud or of the Iranian Mullahs.

Not really. They hated him. They were against an unjust war. Thats why the Americans bought out Qatar and moved their CENTCOM from Sultan AB in Saudi to Qatar just before this war.

Still denying your religious history? Saddam's continued presence in Iraq was more enticing to the House of Saud than a Shi'ite and Kurdish run government. Anything beyond this is surface deceit.

What are you talking about? There are like half a dozen Shia death squads exclusively for the ethnic cleansing of Sunnis. There are over a dozen Sunni groups exclusively for fighting the coalition. There is only One Sunni group that is in on the shia bombings. The Shia majority accepted the American invasion, thats why Sistani issued a fatwa against fighting the Americans when the coalition first invaded and thats why the Iraqi army 'dissapeared'. The majority shia conscripts simply went home and joined the Mahdi Army and other shia militias, whose political parties now control the majority government. The only people that fought in Baghdad in April were Sunnis, and the majority of the insurgents fighting the occupation are Sunnis. I'm sure you know this but fail to mention it.

You are hopeless. There isn't a bit of truth in you. You can't even be honest about your own culture. The Shia militias formed after the Sunni began slaughtering Shia. But, again you prove what you are. You are one of those Sunni that have a need to always blame outward. Nothing but exonerations and excuses.

But that word "occupation" is funny when used by Islamists. It seems everyone "occupies" Sunni land. To the Shi'ite, Saddam's Sunni "Occupied" holy lands. Until you people get over your rediculous needs to chain god to an acre of land, you will continue to behave foolishly.

Gysgt,

Cmon Man. Which Zionist taught you that twist?
Fatah means literrally means opening, and it is meant to mean liberation from occupation. It is the backward pronounciation of the acronym Hataf (Harakat Tahreer Falasteen/ Palestine liberation movement) and is one member of the umbrella organazation the PLO and is a secular movement. The PFLP (marxists) was started by a christian doctor and is also a party in the PLO and a growing player in internal palestinian politics. Theyre the 'cool' party. The hottest chicks in Ramallah are in it haha.

I cannot believe how bold you are with your indoctrinations. Put the Qu'ran down and learn more about your culture's reality....

The reverse acronym was chosen because it is similar to the word fath, "conquest" (after the first Arab-Muslim conquests). "Fatah" means "conquest" or literally "opening", in the Arabic language. The acronym "FATAH" is created from the complete Arabic name: HArakat al-TAhrir al-Watani al-Filastini, becoming "HATAF", which, since it means "sudden death" in Arabic, was reversed to become "FATAH".[4] This word (Fatah) is prominently used for the Islamic expansion in the first centuries of Islamic history, and so has strongly positive connotations for Muslims.

I will always believe that God is greater than Zion.

Hahahahaha. This was good. This was exactly what I was waiting for you to do. Now, there is absolutely no confusion as to your mind set. Hopelessly indoctrinated to religion, history, and politics.

1) Your use of exaggerations and deceits is so bold it has become even sickening to me.

2) You appear to adhere to every stereotype in the book with regards to Islam.

3) It is common for Middle Eastern Arabs and Persians to reject their history as they scapegoat all their problems on the Crusades or the black death, regardless that the West has prospered despite the much longer and more brutal Islamic assault upon Christian lands and our own bit of the black death.

4) You preach about Muhammed being a Prophet of justice, goodness, and peace and then dismiss his violent episodes as "justified." The fact that there was a violent episode to Muhammed's life is exactly why moderate Muslims are unable to nurse this religion beyond the terror apostles that direct it.

5) The "martyr" or "victim" status is invoked wherever Muslims lash out and is always "justified."

6) Very ignorant of your own culture and cling to any prescription that will blame outside devils for your civilization's plight.

7) When reflecting on your cultures long time self-inflicted wounds, you seek exaggerations of other cultures to ease the burden of self knowledge.

8) You have a need to use the outlawed and hunted down KKK, the very brief activity of the Black Panthers, and America's pioneering days, while dismissing how far America has come, to explain away 14 centuries of Islamic unrest, racism, and persecution.

9) You have a need to use the Chrisitan dark period in the 16th century to demonstarte how Catholics and Protestants wrecked each other, while dismissing how far Christianity has come, to explain away the 14 centuries of religious internal strife in Islam that exists all the way up to the point where I wrote this.

10) You have a need to use the current day issue regarding illegal immigrants from the American south border to explain away centuries of immigrant expulsion from other civilizations. And when facing the true diversity and toleration of America towards religion, race, creed, and nationality, you immediately seek the American pioneering days to explain your cultures lack of toleration and diversity for Islam's whole existence.

11) You declare the absence of racism within the Middle East except for those areas where Kurds reside, Shia militias are active, and American and Zion "occupation" are held. Always seeking anything that might fool someone away from the Sunni.

12) You have a need to excuse Islam's expansionism and the terror it wrought for over a thousand years from Arabs and Turks by explaining how it was good for the Christian world, while scoffing and demonizing the very brief Crusade period. So, let me get this straight: Islamic hoard across Europe for over a thousand years....good. Two century Christian Crusade and today's American inspired Democracy in Iraq....bad.

Your posts are full of exaggerations and deceits. They're not even honest deceits. The Middle East will aways be a basket case as long as it hasn't the capabilities to look inward for blame once and for all. You are a good representation.

Bin Ladden, Zarqawi, the House of Saud, Hezbollah, and the Iranian right will always be in business with sheep like this.

Your post is full of exaggerations and lies.
How Ironic it is that I would hear this from you, pentagon boy.

Furrthermore, you don't seem to want to deal with your regions very real problems as reported by Muslims as well. You seem to have aa need to celebrate outside exceptions to the rules to explinan away your world.
No, habibi... I would love to deal with the problems faced by Muslims and the world from Muslim extremists. However, it is very clear, I was offering these examples inorder to underline your blind assertion about Islam. You blame the problems of Europe in many cases on Muslims, when you didnt even know that Spain was never turkish ruled. Infact, the North Africa refuge of the Muslim and jewish natives of spain was not ottoman ruled at the time of their flight from inquisition. You made several real lies, and I respectfully responded with facts that prove you wrong....But since youre calling me a liar, Id like to let you know of your ignorance and hypocrisy.

If you read my entire argument, with your preconceived notions aside, you would have understood the context.

You can continue with your life, blind to your own twisted history, and create arguments in which people applaud you for your conceived 'intelligence'. I post my refutations, in my free time to make sure that anyone sincere and skeptical of your one sided rhetoric and that of others has the other side and pov of history and the story to study and understand...

P.S. You seem to have a problem and paint me 'black' because I show respect to my holy book by calling it Noble. Your idea of a debate opposite requires I drop the respect I have for my faith, and to that I say 'up your idea', and your pentagon/evangelical regurgitation.

There was a neat show on one of the Science channels, Light Fantastic episode “let there be light,” about this religion thing last night:

Al-Haitham (Alhazen), 965-1040 C.E.

It is a shame, my father’s high school algebra book has a stinking Arab on the cover. I just wish the Arabs could ditch the tyrants and the religion thing and think, we would be in Star Trek by now instead of fanaticizing about it. Damn stinking Islam!

Truth is never accepted easily by the willfully indoctrinated.

Your accusation are without merit and a bit foolish. The "think tank" in Washington has your culture all wrong and sees it as a black and white issue...hence the mess in Iraq. Furthermore, there isn't much in the way of learning your culture that comes out of the Pentagon.

And let's get something straight about reality. Let me just stop you right here. The West blames the Middle East for absolutely nothing and neither do I. Our civilizations have prospered and we have done so, because we can reflect inward upon ourselves and move forward. It is your civilization that can't digest what they see in the mirror. It is your civilization that needs foreign devils to explain away inadequacy. And it is your civilization that hasn't the proper roots to define what Islam is from moderate to radical to terrorist. I merely offerred up some historical enlightenment on how pathetic the sentiment of blaming the Christian world for all woes is.

And of course I knew the historical time period of the Ottoman expansion. This was an honest error. See how I can do that? And your innuendos that you corrected my historical recognition based on one slip of a word in a couple places is more of that deceit. I made one error in which you replied with trivial grandstanding. You however, your posts are full of exaggerations and lies (what is do you call a purposeful deceit at interpreting the meaning opf Fatah?). You merely added facts to my facts. Get over it. Oh wait....your Islamic. This will be used to shed blood for centuries to come.

And let's not pretend that you have any other agenda other than a drive to excuse your world dillemma. You should spend your free time looking inward towards your restictive culture. Your a Qu'ranic thumper who bases his entire existence and behaviors on a religious book. You have also been subjected to a life long indoctrination of the Middle East. Let's not discuss blindess and historical twists. You revealed exactly what you have been trying in vain to hide in post 150.

A respectful debate involves reality, not fantasies of religion as wisdom. And as long as you use the Qu'ran and Muhammed to explain away despicable behaviors then you are the problem.

However, with regards to Pentagon boy and habibi...another blatant inslut towards me will not go un-dealt with.

Sheep is EXACTLY right. And sheep they will stay until they get an education and an Islam-free school system.

Most of the rest of the world provides and EDUCATION for the young. In Jenin's country, the young are provided with an INDOCTRINATION. This is what makes them sheep.

Moderator's Warning:
Jenin, Gunny said it in-thread, I'll be more direct. Personal attacks like 'pentagon boy' are unacceptable. Do not repeat this.

And for anyone else thinking of joining in or continuing the melee: DON'T.

I disagree with this moderation.
Reason;
Previous posters have been listing not only historical events and their interpretation of them as is part of normal debate, but the perceived character flaws of the member known as 'Jenin'. This kind of talk is also unacceptable in civilised debate as Jenin's personal character is not the subject. In this light the abusive term 'pentagon boy' is, while unacceptable itself, part of a wider series of exchanges that constitute personal abuse.

1) You are not a MOD

2) You do not see the repeat offenders that get their wrist slapped before we finally have to pull back the reigns.

3) What you perceive as personal abuse is mere discussion between all parties that transcends this thread. The only disrespect (abuse) here came when two mods were insulted (the first of which was dismissed, which gave comfort for a second offense). Jenin isn't a victim. He just went too far.

4) You are in violation of rule 6a. "If there are any concerns over a moderators actions, please address a private message (PM) to vauge or the moderator in question. Your feedback and concerns are very valuable to the success of this board. Each and every PM will be read and investigated."

I suggest that you accept that you don't know the full story and keep your comments about Moderator action where it belongs.

Moderator's Warning:

Consider this a wrist slap. It could be worse.

Actually I do know whats been going on Gunny, and the trouble here is its you who's been part of the problem in bringing down the tone of the debate so your hardly in a position to judge despite your being a MOD.

However, in light of the rules I will also bring these points to the relevant area of DP.

Perhaps you should re-read it. There was nothing wrong with the tone of debate. My patience ran out when the name calling against three members (two Mods) began.

In respect for your MOD status I will instead ask for the relevant area of DP where this matter of unreasonable/ biased moderation can be taken further.

Many thanks.

In the meantime. Jenin do not worry. While I would urge you to refrain from calling other memebers names, I for one as well as a few others I suspect on this site are aware of whats been going on re personalised comments.
