If the stimulus failed, you'd be in a soup line right now, probably watching Osama Bin Laden's New Year's address to his flock of warriors. Sheesh. The denial on the Right of Obama's many successes is downright pathological.

I don't know, and the article didn't go into detail, but it's been my experience it would be very rare for activist LGBT individuals to align with the GOP, regardless of religious affiliation.

Perhaps you know better.

Yes, that would be very difficult. As I said, their politics aren't a lot different from those of the evangelicals. What activist LGBT are you referring to?

TARP kept the system from collapsing. The stimulus got it moving again. Of course, you can pretend none of that affected you, but most of us know better. If the system collapsed, you'd be ****ed just like the rest of us.

it's a pattern you can make a lot of money on.

the GOP screw up the economy by creating huge false bubbles. you cash out then.

then when the bubble bursts, the DEMS get elected to put on the big boy pants and begin to rebuild the economy. you buy after the GOP crashes it.

Oh, Eirka Munson. I'd forgotten about her. She isn't relevant anyway. What's more telling is that prominent Utah politicians, including the governor seem to be having second thoughts about the choir supporting Trump.

Too many voters in this dark red state really don't agree with their party's pick for president, and I don't blame them.

Not relevant? Interesting. The LGBT issue only appears at the head of the article, so, no, clearly relevant.

As to too many voters not supporting Trump, I'm going to guess that undefined amount is only relevant to those who's bias thinks it is.

What about them? They played second fiddle to the LGBT concerns that fronted the article.

Trump got @ 50% more votes than Hillary and 100% more votes than Evan McMullin, who I imagine these "prominent" Utah politicians placed on the ballot as an alternative to Trump.

It would seem the meme that you appear to be pushing is not supported by many facts.
 
WHy do people view the inauguration as an homage to Donald Trump? FFS...the COUNTRY is run by a process...and this is the next step in the process. We had a free and fair election. The people chose their candidates to represent the 2 major parties and the country voted. Trump won. We have a line of succession in place and the inauguration is the celebration not of Donald Trump but of an established democratic process. ANY artists should be HONORED to participate in the process.

But leftists have all got their sad little ******s hurt. Wah. You know what? Pick a better candidate. Run a better race. Hell...dont alienate half of the voting population within your OWN PARTY by colluding with one to **** over the other. Get over yourselves. And FFS...GROW UP. There will be an election in 2 years...demonstrate responsible choices for better Congressional and state candidates in 2018. Do a better job in 2020. Or...you know...dont. Keep whining. Keep going out of your way to create enemies within your own part and with the vast majority of Americans. Attack anyone that dares to disagree with you. Ensure that in 2018 and 2020, the bloodbath continues.

Be grateful you live in a country that gives everyone the opportunity to participate in this process and use the inauguration as a celebration.

The concerns really have nothing to do with the gay agenda. They have to do with Utah voters' disenchantment with Trump.

While many of them did vote against Hillary Clinton in the general election, Trump was not favored in the primary.
