This will be an interesting time:
In a Majority vote of 56%-44% (with 46% reported), the People of Alabama passed Amendment 6, which reads:
An amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, to prohibit any person, employer, or health care provider from being compelled to participate in any health care system.
Alabama is the 11th state to have passed similar legislation. Missouri and Arizona voters were first and second in 2010. But Alabama is the first to have passed it since the Supreme Court ruling this summer.
The message to the Court? You may have your opinion on Obamacare. Good luck coming to Alabama to try to enforce it.
