Election too close to call as of Nov 4

On what planet?

Obama had 365 electoral votes and 10 million more popular votes... that is not close at all....

Obama only got 53% of the popular vote. That's not a landslide.

I don't think anyone claimed it was a landslide ... but it wasn't close, either.

It was close. 53% to 47% is close. Sorry.

My point was that it feels the same as four years ago. The articles could have been written last week or 4 years ago - they are the same rhetoric. The media is making it interesting with a 'Romney' surge/trend/hype - just like they did for McCain 4 years ago. If they were truthful, there would be much less people voting and less people tuning in for the ad dollars.

Reality is that Romney hasn't a snowball's chance.

It really doesn't feel the same at all. By this point in 2008, there was no question. You're rewriting history for reasons which are unclear.

Romney will be declared winner with over 300 electoral votes by 8PM EST. Chris Matthews will claim it was all because america hates blacks.

Whatever, dude. Obama won and he's going to win again on Tuesday. :D

Well, it ain't in the bag. I think that really pisses you off, too.

My recollection of history appears different than yours. I specifically remember being glued to the TV/Talk radio hearing and knowing that McCain had a surge in the polls. I followed the EC votes and polls very very closely back then. Just like in 2008, McCain owned the media. CNN/MSNBC/FOX all were showing positive messages about him constantly. 1 critical to 5 positive news stories. It is, to me, about the same now.

Just like in 2008, all 3rd party polls have Obama winning by a landslide but the big two have it too close to call.

What are you going to do when that densest happen?

Better get your bags packed for your move to Cuba, Adam. your socialist utopia under chairman maobama is not going to happen, but I am sure the castro brothers will welcome you to theirs----and don't forget, there's always north korea, they have the kind of government you say you want.

I'm going to start stock piling food and cash, because the country is in trouble.

Mmm hmmm. You might want to pick up a couple extra boxes of tissues before Tuesday ... just sayin'.

Most polls in general overate Democratic support. imo, if Romney wins either Ohio or Wisconsin, he'll win the election.

With that being said, I expect Romney to lose, but I don't see Obama reaching 300 and beyond.

Admit I was wrong, but I don't think that will be necessary. The early voting is heavily favoring Romney, quite the opposite from what happened in 2008.

As soon as its announced that Romney wins, I will jump over to MSNBC and watch the crying and blaming

Not historically they don't. There's no evidence of that.

Good point, If obama wins I will call my broker and tell him to buy lots of Smith and Wesson stock.
The gun stores will be selling everything they have in stock.
