Who will win and one reason why.

Romney has sabotaged his own campaign, especially in Ohio. He shouldn't have been the GOP nominee to begin with. We need to pick someone better four years down the road.

Like dumbass Palin?

Every time the GOP get's a good candidate the evangelical right shoots them down.

Obama

Because electing Romney would be electing someone who's willing to kiss the ass of anyone who has money/power. Not saying Obama does not do the same, but the big difference is that--unlike Romney--Obama believes in certain important principles.

Like what?

The left was obsessed with the debt when Bush was president - now they don't say a damn thing when Obama doubles it in only 4 years...

It only took 100 years of spending to do what Obama has done in 4 - and not a peep from the media. It really goes to show how partisan and divided this country actually is. People are so obsessed with their own candidate that IMO legitimate issues take the back seat to the fanboy aspect of politics.

Of course the media is responsible for a lot of this nonsense because they tell people what they want to hear - they don't tell the truth.

The truth is that it was Bush who doubled our debt not Obama.

Simple thread. Post the name of the candidate you believe will win and ONE reason why.

Let's see. I predict that either Obama or Romney will win because one of them has to.

But for real I think Obama gets the second term, though I would say it's about 50/50.

Hopefully it'll be 51/49. We don't another SCOTUS appointed candidate, with Wall Street influence.

Obama: It is incredibly hard to unseat an incumbent.

Obama: It is incredibly hard to unseat an incumbent.

Two out of the last five presidents were one termers, so I would say that "incredibly hard" is a bit of an overstatement.

Obama, mostly because Mitt has a bigger up hill climb in the EC than Obama does.

Yes, people. So far, to my knowledge, Obama has not poo-pooed at least 47% of the people.

It'll probably be close but I agree with vauge that incumbents have the advantage of the bully pulpit and gas prices are stable.

Romney has been painted as a corporate raider with little compassion for the middle class and anyone who earns less.

Amazing to me that gas prices are even an issue. As if the President can do anything about it... aside from pushing Americans to:
1) Use less
2) Support alternative energy

Or allow more drilling or more pipelines rather than not allowing them.

You are correct, he has poo-pooed more than 47% of the people, those who follow the bible, and those that own guns, the 'rich'. That's probably just the tip.

Romney will win, because....

Obama got 2,800 at his speech yesterday in OH.

Romney/Ryan got 30,000.

Romney will win because the lazy bottom-feeders will be just that....too lazy to go vote, because the Obama Media has already told them Obama's gonna win, so their vote wouldn't matter as much.

Trust me people will blame any person perceived in control or power for financial pain, regardless of their culpability.

If you're voting on the main issue of the economy, here is something to think about. Logically speaking, who is more likely to create jobs, rich people with a tax break or poor people with welfare and food stamps? IMO, I don't see hobo Joe starting a business any time soon.
