Obama Creates 1.1 Million new Millionaires

"a recent survey from British analyst WealthInsight reports the U.S. has added 1.1 million millionaires since Obama was elected in 2008.

According to the London-based wealth-analysis group, the figure means the number of millionaires has grown by 28.6 percent. This is equivalent to over a thousand new millionaires per day during Obama’s first three years, according to a press release obtained by The Huffington Post."

Meanwhile an additional 15 million people are on Food Stamps. And you claim Romney is the one who cares about the rich at the expense of the poor? :doh

So ... tell me again how it is that Obama is demonizing the rich?

The follow up to this will be, "A recent report boasting inaccurate financial statistical analysis brought the British analyst Wealth Insight under intense scrutiny for their obtuse inability to do basic math."

You should look at the overall figures regarding millionaires in the US. Most of these millionaires are likely ones who lost their money and are now recouping their wealth. Here is a good article from 2011 showing a chart:


The coming millionaire boom

As you can see, 3.6 million millionaires dropped off the map from 2007 to 2008. It's an expected rise. Obama isn't personally making these people millionaires.

Obviously. But if the right wing is going to say that everything bad is personally his fault, then why not suggest everything good is also his doing?

Obama hates success. He is creating those millionaires to take away their money.

I wasn't one of them.

Since i do not think obama is handing out a million dollars to a whole bunch of poor people, i don't think obama is personally creating millionaires. Again this seems like misrepresentation of the facts. This may or may not actually be news. How many people become millionaires in 4 years normally? Seriously, if you are earning 250k per year then in four years you may have a net worth over a million. Then there are lotteries. There are things like neqw businesses and other forms of success. It also seems by the graph presented people may no longer be losing large parts of their income to bad times. The economy is improved since the middle of his term. We have the unemployment that we had when he started, and we are actually going up in jobs instead of dropping.

Republicans bitch when things are bad under a democrat, and they bitch when it seems people are getting the american dream under a democrat. oddly, this is the promise mittens made to make lots more millionaires. Only obama is doing it so republicans have to whine. the only difference is that obama doesn't only make the rich richer, but is also helping out the poor who are struggling. Now republicans are complaining because they want him to take the money from the millionaires and give it to the poor? You guys are too much.

How ironic that if we are talking about the unemployment, Dems give Obama credit for "creating" the jobs rather than just the natural response to a recession, but if we talk about millionaires its "oh he had nothing to do with that."
