Why didn't Democrats who controlled the Congress prevent the financial crisis? Why all the blame on Bush and none on the Democrat Congress? Facts seem to be manipulated by liberals.

the last time the democrats controlled congress was 1977-1979, and by control i mean had the 60 seats needed to override a fillibuster. the 2008-2010 congress did not have a fillibuster proof majority, they fell 1 or 2 seats short if you include joe lieberman (R).

If Romney is elected sure. Actually they want their agenda and Romney's not to pass. No different from how the GOP has been acting since 2010. You seem to have no problem with the GOP doing that. Why do you suddenly have an issue when the Democrats do it? Oh yes, because you are an extreme partisan.

The standard method of business in the Congress is that the house sends a Bill to the Senate which is changed sometimes quite dramatically and then both versions go to conference and the result is a compromise. Harry reid refused to ever bring the bills to the floor of the Senate and so nothing ever happened.

Actually generally both parts of Congress work on separate bills, then the bills are reconciled together and revoted upon. There was absolutely no chance of reconciliation with the GOP bill so Reid never bothered.

The Senate was designed as it was to avoid what jefferson referred to and the tyranny of the majority. He and the other founders envisioned a viper pit of partisan poison and this was the hedge against that.

Sorry, that simply isn't true, there are two Independent Senators that Caucus with the Democrats. The Scott Brown election broke the filibuster proof Senate.

That was how many years ago? How many assets that were toxic have been made whole again? This guy didn't know what he was trying to do, what needed to be done to accomplish it or who to go to for help.

We're back to what I said before. You've been down so long it's starting to look like up. This is miserably bad and the fact that we have clawed our way out of raw sewage to the gutter in spite of the unending incompetence of the Big 0 and his henchmen only means that his attempts to stop everything are failing.

How did Reid know that the system used for 200 years would not work if he never even tried it one time?

Was this the same reason that he never once brought up a budget even for a vote in the Senate? You guys are empty.
