They got Obama stash... did they get Obama phones too?
...when the quarterly reports are combined, a total of 408 new positions were reported under the stimulus program since 2009, amounting to more than $300,000 spent for each new job reported.

Battery maker A123 Systems vowed thousands of new jobs when it received a nearly quarter-billion-dollar stimulus grant in late 2009, but federal job-tracking figures show only a few hundred positions were created before the company joined a growing list of federally backed energy businesses that ended in bankruptcy.

The latest quarterly report on file with a federal stimulus tracking database shows just seven positions created through the grant from April to June this year. Previous quarters’ job reports contained anywhere from a handful of positions created to more than 100 new jobs.

$300,000 per job. Just like Michelle Obama used to earn.

Neat. Obama just created more of those nasty "millionaires".

I wonder how much of that cash made its way back to Obama's campaign?

You can't just divide the number of dollars spent by the number of new employees as if all that money were being paid out as salary or something.

As an example, hiring two new airline pilots requires you spend tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars on a large airplane. Your airline only hired two new people directly, but what about the company you contract maintenance to? How about Boeing? How about the service and catering company that delivers those crappy food trays? (wait, do they even do that anymore?) How about all the businesses those new employees spend their new salary at?

Okay. What were the other businesses, and exactly how much did they gain as a direct result of the stimulus?

Officials also say the grant was used for manufacturing equipment, so the jobs reported included workers responsible for installing the factory equipment, but not those who would later use that equipment during the assembly process.

The company declined to discuss how it reported jobs through the stimulus program.

A further example of why government should keep its bloody paws out of the private sector; picking winners and losers.
Ain't their job. Theirs is to create a fertile environment for people to prosper. A level field... not favoritism to their pet projects.
They have a pet project... then go raise the capital in the private market. If it bombs, it's not our tax money. If nobody wants to fund it... tough darts amigo. If it succeeds... well we know what Obama's take is...

Hey! You didn't build that!

I'd like to see your source for that (but I am still waiting for your source that I ever said Obama said the military doesn't use any bayonets so I won't hold my breath).
