Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about ...

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

Moderator's Warning:
Okay, when the off topic back and forth begins to get to a point where an entire political ideology is labeled as "genetically defective", it's getting to the point that it's just trolling.

I suggest people get back on topic...and the topic isn't a back and forth about how dumb you think liberals are

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

And the Taliban and Al-Qaeda are conservatives, and since you are conservative, ooooh oooooh quick to Guantanimo Bay with you. See I can do hyperbole as well. You just throw in some tired ole Godwin tactics, you really need to come up with something new, it's boring.

As for foolish YOU made the claim that I dismissed the video, and if you would have read my comments you would see I didn't. But since you want to just throw partisan hackery comments out, enjoy, it's what I've come to expect from you.

Sol you condemn the video and the people that made it? Good for you.

gotcha, zyph. But pointing out that scientists have identified a defective gene in all liberals is not calling them dumb, just sayin.

Yes, I think it is wrong to use children in that way. No matter whether it is religion or politics that is the excuse.

They didnt get paid, they earned money and then were forced to give it to a bunch of kids who didn't feel like showing up.

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

The lefties here keep telling us conservatives do the same thing, yet they can't produce ONE child exploitation video.

I posted 2, Objective posted 1. It's funny that people can just waltz right over posts that show something they don't like. It's like it goes in one ear and out the other.

I saw a picture, but I didn't see everything posted. Do you have a video?

Yeah posts 45 & 46, Objective's was post 26.

While I find this in very poor taste, how is this Obama's fault again?

I wonder the same thing about about the "Women rape easy". Romney didn't say it but that hasn't stopped dems from posting it repeatedly and acting as if it was the Republican party platform.

Ah, here we go! It only took hours to find a similar video. I hate Google for making people think somehow the present is all that matters.

Now that's a good and I approve of that message for children. A positive message.

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

And here's another one from the same group.

Another true message. I like it.

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

And don't forget, the Tea Party is racist.

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

the superpac nonsense has almost ruined this election year. it's normally like the world cup for me. i can only imagine what it's like for those in swing states. for me, it's crossroads superpac tea party crap 24/7. i'm the most nonviolent person you'll ever meet, but after watching 50 tea party commercials while i'm trying to eat my dinner and catch up on the news, i admit to fantasizing about giving Karl Rove a swift kick in the ass.

Think of what it has been like watching Obama for four years. Those ads are a song by comparison.

Superpacs are great; it's freedom of speech. People pay for those ads.

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

So you only approve of child exploitation when it suits your political viewpoints?

Color me shocked. That's been the story with this whole thread. Conservatives cry when pro-Obama superpacs use children as actors, but support it when it's something they like.

Nope. I see the republican videos as campaign ads. I see the Obama video as anti-conservative propaganda and lies. Can't you see the difference? I'd be happy to show you. Here are the words to the Obama ad song. Do you want me to pick it apart?

We’re the children of the future
American through and through
But something happened to our country
And we’re kinda blaming you

We haven’t killed all the polar bears
But it’s not for lack of trying
The Earth is cracked
Big Bird is sacked
And the atmosphere is frying

Congress went home early
They did their best we know
You can’t cut spending
With elections pending
Unless it’s welfare dough

We’re the children of the future
American through and through
But something happened to our country
And we’re kinda blaming you

Find a park that is still open
And take a breath of poison air
They foreclosed your place
To build a weapon in space
But you can write off your au pair

It’s a little awkward to tell you
But you left us holding the bag
When we look around
The place is all dumbed down
And the long term’s kind of a drag

We’re the children of the future
American through and through
But something happened to our country
And yeah, we’re blaming you

You did your best
You failed the test

Mom and Dad
We’re blaming you!

These were 2009 videos unconnected with the campaign before you, and just as "propaganda" and "lies" as the Democrat video. Why are you privileging your sides' dirty work, but demonizing the Democrats? Well, other than the fact that those videos help your side, but not the other.

Read the words to the song. Nothing but BS propaganda. Polar bears, global warming, the earth is cracked, big bird, etc. The republican ads were about real issues. We can't keep spending more than we are taking in. The Democrat ad doesn't address that, the republican ad does.

The Democrats need to be demonized. The Demorats are the ones who passed this huge health care tax on the American people while ignoring jobs, not the republicans.

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

Reverting to talking points and partisan hackery doesn't do anything to allay the notion that they were using children for political talking points and propaganda. Face it: the use of kids in political videos is good. Just come out and say it. Do you think it is effective for political campaigns or PACs to use children to flesh out public policy and political talking points? Was it effective for conservatives to use children in those two videos? Yes or no.

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

You might have a point if there was a republican advertisement comparable to this one, but there isn't. Those are real children in the video, not a picture.

i already posted one here guess you missed it, and in other threads concerning this same thing, there are more lol

I liked the way the republican ads were done and I didn't like the democrat ad. It's spooky because it reminds me of totalitarianism.
