outrageous pro obama ad featuring Children singing

Can't help but to think of this, after seeing ads with children like this....

how do I make the title of the thread in this forum in bold letters? I tried to do it in advanced setting but it would only work for the post it self not the thread title?

Everything seems to be "Outrageous" these days.

I'm a political junkie and all but even I'm ready for this election to be over. All the ridiculous hyperbole's and fake October surprises are wearing me down.

Yes, because there's a total correlation with paying children actors to be in a political campaign ad and mandating that children be forced into a youth organization by a government run by a maniac whose sole goal is to kill as many other humans as he can.

Way to a Godwin a thread in the first page.

Those kids aren't involved in politics.

Rather, they are involved in show business.

the kids themselves I would agree with you...but the parents no..and the kids still hear the words that they are singing...over and over and over again......the words in the song like where it says "We blame you mom and Dad" is a sad thing for the kis to sing over and over....and the fact that parents IMO all in the name of politics let those kids sing it....so who here would let your kids sing tis song....not me thats for sure.....no matter what the politics.

to be fair...the OS are doing the same thing in here...it is not one sided.....and for me posting this had nothing to do with either side that did it...but the fact that it was done at all.

The parents didn't allow their kids to do this because of politics.

The parent allowed their kids to do this because it was a gig for their children, who got paid for doing this ad and can now put this on their resume when they seek future job opportunities in show business.

Your post reminds me of Joseph Goebbels. When he was an outrageous child of course.

Do you have any modicum of evidence to support this?

The parents most likely just wanted the money. In fact, with this economy, there's little doubt they would've signed their kids on to any commercial that'd help pay the bills.

Totally agree - from the other side of the world from you politically. :peace

Actually, my correlation was based on the "use" of children for one's personal goals. Go ahead and feel free to jump to your twisted conclusions though. It's only amusing to the rest of us.

Do you have any proof/evidence to the contrary? how about this song...guess this/all these kids were also just for the money and not one bit political...

I would also like to add that I posted what the video stated....I don't feel it is "outrageous" but do find it disturbing to say the least.

Yeah, because Obama has been the only President to use children to further a political agenda.

Except for the times when politicians stand up to be photographed with their families so they can be seen as a family values candidate.

Or when politicians visit with schools so they can get better PR from their constitutients.

Such as when George W. Bush was reading to children when we were being attacked by terrorists.

Kissing babies and reading to children and taking photos are not the same as having them sing songs that have a political agenda....and I don't care which side does it its wrong IMO. Keep the kids out of it....if they want songs sung then they can find enough willing adults with a good voice to sing for their candidates....they dont need to use children to do it.

Wait, parents are letting their children be in commercials? Holy ****, when will the madness end?

Commercials is not the questioned at hand...it is political singing commercials at hand....so would you let your child sing in a commercial for Romney if you needed money or to help your child's career move forward?

Yes. A parent's political views should not negatively impact a child's future success. This is not something up for question.

If my child was working towards a performance career, politics is the last thing I would consider in looking at commercial jobs. Of course I do not have an overdeveloped sense of outrage.

Read my signature and look at my leaning - as a Democratic Socialist with libertarian preferences and an affinity for communes, I know my views are unpopular and I accept that. No self respecting man would force those, or any, political beliefs on their children, especially when it's potentially detrimental to do so.
