Who was the last Republican President to balance the budget?

Interesting. The consistent trend is that wars and Democrat control of a majority of the branches of government increase deficit spending.

Reading charts and graphs is not your strong suit.
 
Well, technically, no, it was the Democrat-controlled Congress. The irresponsible and reckless policies that gave us this unprecedented deficit were passed by Congress, with President Obama's full support, so he certainly bears a fair share of the blame. It's not like he made any vestige of an attempt to encourage any bit of fiscal responsibility.

And since the 2010 election?
