Why? Because Americans want answers to why we have been lied to about these four brave, dead Americans.
If leadership truly mattered to you, then you would have taken the President's words to heart because what provided was fact genuine leadership. He said the following:
..waiting for the results of investigations before making any conclusions about what went wrong.
Which is precisely what the President is supposed to be doing right now. Congressional hearings and an investigations - State Department investigations ongoing - at what point would it make sense for the President to hold another Press Conference to tell you what he's already held a press conference to tell you on September 12th, 2012, not even 14 days ago for goodness sakes. This investigation is not happening around the corner, its happening around the world on foreign soil in Libya!
All of this Pre-Election contrived concern is so transparent and so obvious, that anyone with a modicum of common sense can see it for what it is - an "October Surprise" dig at the President. People with brains clearly see this for what it is. Of course, EVERYBODY wants closure and final answers, but rushing through an investigation is not the answer and having the President give spot answers to something that deserves a full explanation in vivid detail, is completely the wrong expectation. If you want a Daily Briefing, then watch the White House Daily Briefings, or read the White House Daily Briefing transcript! That's WHY they make it available to you. After the investigations are completed, THEN it will be appropriate for the President to address the American People.
The President has already told you what he knows at the time he knew it. You have allowed lies coming from his Political Adversaries, unrevealed so-called "sources" in the media, construct questions out of pure vapor in your mind. None of those so-called "sources," unless they are part of the investigation themselves, or have identifiable sources who are part of the investigation, have anything to say that trumps what the President has already told you.
Colin Powell, even told you to wait for the investigation to unfold. Condoleezza Rice, of all people on planet earth, has even come out and told you the exact same thing - wait until the investigation is concluded.
All the fake concern is palpable. Where was this same concern when we got to Iraq, and found no WMD? All of you Bush 43 supporting cheerleaders were telling everybody to calm down and WAIT for a proper investigation of all the WMD sites, remember? You people had the entire country strung out for an eternity waiting for WMD to turn up - YEARS we waited for the official story to come together and for the Administration to tell us where the WMD was located, and where it was found and what type had been discovered.
Yet, not 14 days after the attack on a Consulate in Benghazi, you are beside yourself because want answers yesterday? It is OK to wait YEARS for Bush 43 to get his crap together on WMD, but you can't wait a hot minute for President Obama, to get his together on Benghazi? That is disgusting behavior.
I'm so sick and tired of the HYPOCRISY!
