I don't know what the facilities are like in other locales. In Indianapolis, there is a whole hospital designated for low cost care for the under privileged. There are various hospital organizations here and they all work together in a loose sort of cooperation.

Care is available. With or without a socialist model of health care, the rich will get better care.

because of OC they have raised my plan higher then the usual yearly increase...BY A LOT! and also told me that because of the new healthcare law that they have been mandated by the policy to cut costs by using generics only...remember when Obama said something like "Why use the blue pill when ya can use the white one" that is what kaiser is doing....they read me the letter of why they were cutting out brand names and it was from the new law. They also told me that if I drop what they call my "Cadillac plan" the only other plans they have are the new healthcare plans...and no more family plans....I then asked if I do not like the plan can I change it back and they said "NO" once I switch to the Govt plan I have to stay with that plan. So I have not switched yet because I want to see if Romney gets in...the thing is also that the new GOVT plan is not much cheeper then the plan I have today.....only by a couple hundred dollars yet I loose a lot. I feel like Kaiser who is a big supporter of OC is forcing folks like me out of my plan to get us on the GOVT plan...I have no doubt that they will raise my premiums so high that I will be forced out. I have much more that I can add but this is the just of it. More going on with Kaiser with the GOVT plan then I have posted.

I will hate ANY law the requires people to labor for the profits of private corporations against the person's will. That is by definition corporate facism. Doesn't matter if it is for good motives or not.

I love the healthcare reform act.

Kids are covered until they are 26 which is great, in this economy.

Preexisting nonsense is ameliorated.

It doesn't go far enough, but that will come later on.
