I like people to know where they stand. Liberal or conservative. By the time we reach adulthood we should have the common sense to know where we stand on the issues. I am not saying we can not have both liberal and conservative views but good god know where you stand. This waiting to the last second just tells me you don't know squat about politics.

Tells me they don't care; and probably aren't going to vote. By this time in the election cycle, I think votes are "lost" more than "gained."

Makes it all the more important to get their last minute vote. There are many.

I know where I stand. It comes down to this: Obama has failed, and Romney is an elitist a-hole. What the hell kind of choice is that?

I would describe Obama as an elitist a-hole who has failed. At least Romney hasn't failed yet, so I'll give him a chance, and if he fails, in four years I'll give the next elitist a-hole a chance.

Sounds like a Plan to me'

Many people are decided but for some odd reason Americans love to stand in lines so they'll wait for the last day. I doubt there are any "actually undecided" people remaining at this point.

It's the one time every four years that people pay attention to them.

Undecided voter = attention whore

They're like the karoake singers that show up EVERY SINGLE FRIDAY.

Actually it is those that vote Republican or Dem all the time just because they are Republican or Dems that don't care.

There is a reason undecided people decide elections, because the partisan idiots on the left and right only vote for the R or D.

And let's be honest, those that are voting for either Dem or Republican this election cycle don't really care because BOTH candidates are bad for America.

I know where I stand---they both suck and I don't cheer sucky.

That's a big overgeneralization. Although I am not a Republican, I am going to vote Romney because I believe that his ideas will work. I'm willing to give him a chance. The current President, IMO, has squandered his four-year window of opportunity.

You are young, so I don't fault you for not having a realistic view on adulthood, but you'll find, as you mature, that adults do not necessarily have any common sense.

Not a very good one that is for sure. How many more elections are we going to have to endure when we have to choose between two evils?

I am 53 my friend and have been liberal since I voted for rat master Ronnie in 1980.

I don't mean to insult anybody but you should know where you stand as a liberal or conservative and if you don't I am willing to say you don,t know much about politics.

With help from the GOP blocking everything the president tried even if they agreed with it just to deny him any victory.

Earlier in the thread, you acknowledge that some people have liberal views and conservative views. You didn't mention centrist views or alternative views but I'll just go ahead and make that assumption.

As each election cycle progresses, more and more of each candidates and their parties philosophies emerge. Sometimes, positions by candidates change mid-stream. Sometimes, outside events occur and candidates respond to them in different ways.

So, I feel the oppositie of what you do. I think that making up your mind on sheer partisanship is an even greater sign of immaturity. "Don't bother me with facts, I've already made up my mind". I prefer MORE information when I'm making a decision, not less.

When I buy a property, I don't just look at the outside and go "wow, nice house!". I examine the interior, the electrical, the plumbing. I go by the property at night to observe problematic neighbors or police activity. I try to get all the data I can before I commit to a purchase. Would I be wiser to decide based on a photo and listing or is my research valid?

I don't wait until the last minute. But I can't decide instantly either. I spent a great deal of time examining the views, promises and where possible, the lies that each candidate put forth. I found both candidates severely flawed and made a decision to vote 3rd party.

Nothing wrong with waiting until the last minute to make up your mind when you have no party affiliation or feel loyal to one party over the other.

I dont see what the problem is too be honest! What difference does it make to you if some people are waiting to the last minute to make their mind up, as long as they vote thats all that should matter right?

Its called being wishy washy or fence riding. Just wet you finger and see what way the political wind is blowing or of cource it could mean someone does not have a clue. Make up you mind already.

I hold both liberal and conservative views, to the point where I don't have enough in common with any of the candidates, including the third party candidates, that I would want to vote for them. If polled, and asked if I was likely to vote, I would respond "absolutely", if asked which candidate that I was voting for, I would have to say "none of the above", which would most likely end with me being included in the "undecided" category. But truthfully, unless some candidate makes a big policy shift in the next ten days or so, I don't see myself voting for any of them - I will cast a blank ballot like I did in the past two elections.

LOL!!

Fair enough...I apologize...though, from my perspective, you are still a youngster.

Anyway, my point about adults still stands.

Why is it wishy washy?......maybe there will be some major "aha" moment between now and Nov 6th.....LOL....nothing wrong with people waiting until they have been hit with EVERYTHING the far lefts and far rights have to throw at them.
