Is there anyone here that does not know who he/she is voting for? If everyone has already decided then what are we accomplishing by all the discussion on which candidate is best?

If you are undecided, please tell us what could make your mind up. What issues are keeping you on the fence?

With all due respect to my fellow Americans, I can't believe anyone is undercided at this point. It amazes me.

my point exactly, the differences between the candidates are obvious, obama's record is obvious. how each would manage the country over the next 4 years is obvious. How can anyone be undecided?

I only know of 1 undecided voter right now, and that's my 19 year old nephew. He is waffling between the "coolness" of Obama and the "business sense" of Romney. He wants to lean Romney but of course his professors and the bearded Communists on his campus are filling his head with things that make him question.

Then again, he's only 19, never held a job, never paid taxes, never served in the military....so it's no surprise that he's potentially easily manipulated by the Leftists. They prey on the weak and clueless.

Let me talk to you about these folks we call "politicians..."

OK, proceed.

Well, they tell you a lot of things you want to hear during election season. For example, you think it's "obvious" how Romney would govern. Which version are you thinking of? The 2008 Romney, 2012 Primary Romney, or 2012 Candidate Romney? :lamo

The answer is likely NO, which makes the Election forum moot. It's just a bunch of pointless arguing.

Yeah, people who care enough about politics to post angrily on an internet forum have already decided who they are voting for.

then why bother with it? we aren't going to change any minds.

you are correct, we don't know exactly what Romney will do, but we do know exactly what obama will do. obama will continue and expand his policies from the last 4 years and by 2016 we will not recognize our country and it will be too late to turn it around.

I'm torn between Gary Johnson and Jill Stein and I plan to vote today. I'll decide between them in the voting booth. I was originally going with Johnson but I was impressed by Stein in the debates the other night. I tend be be leftish socially and rightish fiscally so it's a tough call.

why waste your time? go drink a beer instead. it will do you more good.

I'm undecided...

Pizza and helles, or Schweinebraten and helles.
Maybe Mexican and helles.

One thing I'm decided on is helles.

Your valuation of my vote happens to not coincide with my evaluation. You consider my vote worthless, I consider it valuable.

Will my vote be valuable only if I vote for Obama?

The thread is about UNDECIDED voters. I thought my response was appropriate.

I don't drink alcohol so even that option is not available.:)

I'm not 100% decided but have been gradually leaning one way which I would think by now most undecideds are at the point where they are leaning one way or the other and if something earth shattering happened in the next week or so they flip the other way.....all I can say about thess forums in relation to deciding factors is when you call people idots, and stupid, and assume they have sided with the other side it really turns people off who may have been on your side so now you merely succeed in pushing them more towards your opposition....at least in my case it has been that way.....that's why we are undecideds...we can be swayed one way or the other because we are not heavily favoring anyone....I noticed it is difficult for those who strongly support Romney or Obama to accept that some people just aren't sure which one is for them.

Well this morning I was undecided between Mcdonalds and Subway.

Subway won out though.

So no I am no longer undecided.

I know I will not be voting for Obama, but I do not yet know for certain that I will be voting for Romney. That is a hard lever to pull for me (well technically button to push). I have started looking at the third party folks more closely but I might undervote and not pick anyone in the Presidential race. I am sort of the same on other races. But for some ballot stuff, I probably would just vote "Present" this election altogether.

What can be more earth shattering than 8+% unemployment?
Lying about dead Americans in Libya?
4-years without a budget?
Spending 6 TRILLION?
Fast & Furious?
Hostility to business and illustrating economic illiteracy.

These are not small spuds.

Romney is more than qualified and has a long, proven record.
Because he has a record, and he is not perfect, he can be attacked, but these attacks seem quite lame.
300 million of Obama attack ads were nullified in 3 debates. (BTW polls show Romney won the three 49-41)

Obama was elected with virtually no record, missed votes in the IL senate specifically designed to leave no tracks, has a history of running with shady characters like Wright, Ayers and Khalidi... stuff that normally would instantly disqualify a candidate. He was elected in a cult-like atmosphere. It may have been a good thing over the long term. McCain was a candidate nominated by democrats and Independents. Obama has done so much damage it might take a generation for them to recover. (Clinton would never have been elected had it not been for Perot, so I would say Carter had the same effect.)

Subway is a terrorist underground organization and I am shocked Sir, deeply shocked that you would make such a choice.

Old MacDonald has a farm. Go USA.

No vote, or a vote elsewhere is a vote for Obama.
You want four more years of what we've had... then don't vote for Romney.

I'm amazed that anyone still backs the Republocrats.

Zimmer...thank you for keeping it civil and not resorting to the flaming and name calling that other conservatives on this board do. I appreciate you taking the time to point out the reasons you believe Romney is the better choice. Right now....I have misgivings towards both candidates...some days I'm leaning Romney and some days I'm leaning Obama.....and the only thing the debates showed to me is that both are equally talented in railroading topics while never directly answering specific questions.

Please vote for Romney.. you can vote against him in 4 years if he doesnt do a good job...but please we need to remove Obama..
